  • Hurricane Sandy was one of the most destructive storms of all time, with an estimated $71 billion in damages and countless lives affected. Even today, over four months after the storm hit, many of the communities and neighborhoods that make New York unique are still devastated and reeling from the catastrophe. It's why Toyota has partnered with Food Bank For New York City with a unique program to assist those families still feeling the effects of Sandy.

If you want me to feel compassion for those who lost their homes due to damage from Hurricane Sandy, then please stop showing pictures of damaged vacation homes.

For your information, just because they show pictures of places you think are owned by rich people, there are thousands or even millions more homes that were devastated by hurricane Sandy! Everyone knows that the area it hit was destroyed. You are a sick, sick person, to think that way! What about all the poor families who have no homes? Ever though about them? Yeah, their homes were destroyed too! And even if the vacation homes don't matter to you, they matter to the people who owned them.
