Just beautiful. It's comforting to see that even artists who make such beautiful pictures may start with something, agonise over getting the detail just like you want it, then change you mind and go over something again to perfect it. Such a beautiful end result. Something to aim for .
You clearly have not only a great eye for detail but a great understanding of the elements. I love the way you've captured the realistic wind shear in the cumulus clouds where others might heap them up into big balls of whites. Fabulous work! :)
I absolutely love the colors you use and ur cloud work is AMAZING. I strive for that kind of quality. You have a lot to teach others. Thank u for ur time!
It's nice. I appreciate the work that went into it. I think what stops this from being great is watching how many times the clouds changed. There's so many times when I got mad the clouds were changed again and again.
This is just amazing -you're incredible and thank you so much for allowing us to share what you do, learn from you, and be taken away to a sweet place for a few minutes!
Clouds are amazing... I would have love to see children playing in the sand. You inspired me.. To try a sea theme. I have lots of pictures of my children playing in the sand. Thanks for sharing
Sono molto belli, questi quadri. Al giorno d'oggi, non sanno più cosa vuole dire un quadro fatto con il pennellino, vi faccio i complimenti, siete dei artisti, bravi...?
Hiya Marc, your art is beautiful. It's so awesome watching what you, guessing what you could be doing in that little corner over there, guessing completely wrong and watching your amazing work unfold. I'm so glad I bumped into your site.☺ Can we please see more please?
Wow. Die Perspektive der Wolken hinzubekommen ist so schwer. Wie du mal eben die hinteren Wolken in den Vordergrund geholt hast, echt beeindruckend. Zudem ein wunderschönes Bild.
This is so breath-takingly ( probably not a word but hey) beautiful. I'm so in awe. I love painting clouds in a scope like this so im always impressed by how other people can make them look so powerful and enormous. I wish there tis video was slowed down by like a 1000x haha
Mark I just found you hear on the tube. simply amazing work! I have been painting for about a year and have been following Tim Gagons work and ready to move on. Thank you posting your work as it is inspiring. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
this is absolutely stunning, a post bit further down is saying that you are there and good enough to be selling these works full time, i agree i think you shoud be doing this full time or at least be showing them in a gallery somewhere.
Beautiful work! We have been doing some big pieces outside and time lapsing them. Hard to get the light right though. I like your set up it looks great!
Marc Doiron I disagree! You're there sir!!! Now go sell your paintings. Get into a Gallery or if you have art shows in your town where you can set up your own booth, do it! Where I live, a couple times a year my town has what's called, Arts in the heart. and it's for artist of all kinds, even amateurs and they make a shit load of money!!! We our are own worst critics, I know you think you're not there bc you're critiquing your own work and will always find flaws while others, like myself see nothing but perfection at its best ;-)
I've now watched this 3 times. I love the background music as well and the way you combined the start beat with you starting the painting (maybe it was a coincidence)...But I have taken inspiration from this paitnting and paitined a more bluer version on my surface pro computer and it came out really nice! Thanks for posting
I'M newbie in Arts, Covid retirement hobby! found many Great Artist in the past year, just found you today! WOW! I can't believe how Great you MASTER your Art both in oils and acrylics ,just love your landscapes . i wish you could give courses I definately would take them. but I guess you are too busy! Would love to see a full lenght video in oils and what brand of oils you use and acrylic .I keep watching and hoping. ......Thank you so much for sharing your amazing talent🙏 Greetings from Québec...Merci Beaucoup ! 😀
100 million views i i didnt mean that literally, but it feels as if people can say anything is art and give it a pretentious enough meaning people will buy it
I agree with Infinity. Calling something "not art" is very presomptuous. It's like saying : "I have absolute taste," in a way :) Younger, Blood Red Mirror by Gerhard Richter for exemple would have made me laugh... Today, I can appreciate those. Because, in an art piece, especially conceptual, the art itself is totally irrelevant... what is, is how it affects you and what happens in your thought process. The simple fact that an art piece, pushes you to believe it is not an art piece, is amazing... it's like art right in front of your face that, yet you can't see it... it's magical. But it does not only that... it plays with your mind : "what is that ?" well, it is something that will fight your mind's natural flaw of putting labels on everything, compartimentizing, judging... It refuses to be caught by your mind. Next thought will often be anger, because your mind is pissed not to be able to put a label on what you're seing... so the anger must flow one way... will you be mad at yourself ? certainly not, people, when feeling anger, will most of the blame blame someone else... the art piece... We could go on and on about the things it moves in one person. But just from what I've said, you can see there is a way to look at it offering more perspective... and it can engage the dialogue, the discussion, and if you ask any geek who tried once to talk to a girl... that in itself is already an Art :)
Gee whiz marc, could you take the boat out?.....and just paint me freaking clouds?.....those clouds are the most beautiful things on earth!!!!....just do clouds and make bank bro......
Just beautiful. It's comforting to see that even artists who make such beautiful pictures may start with something, agonise over getting the detail just like you want it, then change you mind and go over something again to perfect it. Such a beautiful end result. Something to aim for .
Simply magnificent work. The most realistic looking clouds by ANYONE in a long, long time. Keep up the good work. Love it!!!
I love watching other artists and how they approach their work! Great job!!
You clearly have not only a great eye for detail but a great understanding of the elements. I love the way you've captured the realistic wind shear in the cumulus clouds where others might heap them up into big balls of whites. Fabulous work! :)

It's nice. I appreciate the work that went into it. I think what stops this from being great is watching how many times the clouds changed. There's so many times when I got mad the clouds were changed again and again.
looked like he was giving them the background depth for the huge clouds, kinda thought the same thing, like they look good now, stop
