- this past sunday, tested the 76 and man it did not disappoint. Took a while to winddown and while it was, NS 23K decided to show up. The Hybrid bell on the South Shore still isnt working. And yes i reported it, but seems they didnt care. Anyways, tag says 76B, but the brake was removed for whatever reason.
That little guy thinks it's an STH-10 with that long wind down lol 👍
Might be a stupid question but you would’nt sell this model 76?
Cool! That sounds interesting
That's awesome bro!!!!
I wish my siren had a wind down that long...
I think it’s 15/16 port
Hey I saw NS 9203 being pulled by two Union Pacific locomotives with a intermodal train
Without a grille on it, you can see where they drilled the front rotor a little bit. I assume that was to balance it. I knew they did that to Class Qs, but I don't think I've seen inside any other Federal model before. Really cool sound from those.
Re the crossing bell, it might be on the signal maintainer's "to do list." One of those guys can be kept pretty busy just with quarterly inspections. Lots of miles of track, with a lot of things that can break, wear out, or even get stolen.
Yes 8/9 port Siren
how loud
The class 70 has to be the single best sounding vehicular siren. Hands down.
can u put a 5/6 port chopper from a thunderbolt
What a siren review turns into a railfan
Always loved the sound of those 76/77 dual tones. And also great catch of NS as well (sirens and trains=best combo)
Federal3t22 dual*
screw trains, sirens better
You sell this siren ?
Nope I'm keeping it. These are hard to find at a good price
That's nice
