Thanks for the review. Let me just say this, you guys are the ones I go to for reviews especially because you review more brand cigars as a group than most reviews good work. Now I was looking at purchasing these cigarsl since the cigars are on sale at the present and for more than half the price with a box. I also like the Toranos line, so far they been pretty good.
Ok i am smoking the captiva as I comment. I have to agree i would not spend more than $7 on this cigar in point of fact i would not want to spend $7 on any cigar if i could avoid it. This cigar is not complex but it is a comfortable smoke. It's an anytime smoke in my opinion. I get mostly earth taste along with pepper off and on in the beginning, which is fine by me. I also get a little silkiness or a hint of caramel. The burn has been consistant didn't have to light it only when i left it. for about 5min. The draw is easy with plenty of smoke out put . The build was clean with very little veining. Since your review is a couple years old there may have been an adjustment to this cigar or it got better with time. I didn't get cedar in this and definitely no burnt musty hotel taste (whatever that was about lol). I only had this cigar delivered to me a couple days ago and is not bad for not letting it rest. The next time I smoke one will be in a month and it should be better. This is definitly a relaxing time of day smoke. Yes it was worth buying 2 boxes of 20 for $99 on sale at CI. Man the last third and is still pretty decent. No new flavors but consistent and less peppery. I did get some Leathery taste. Well that's my input. Thanks for the review. You guys should not film with the dog around. Very distracting, but I love dogs and the video got much better as it progressed. Just constructive criticism, that's all. I am not sure how serious you guys want to take this youtube this but if you are doing this just for a hobby then never mind. Thank you for the review. Torano's are great cigars in my opinion. Still dying to try a great Cuban cigar one day like the Cohiba Siglo V.

Assume stogie, great tasting 60 gauge experience for $10.75 but hard to fine in the Miami area.
