In my opinion, what they do in their solo era is divide and conquer. They have been together for so long and they know each other strengths and weaknesses.
I watch every release of the members and everytime, it attracts new audience. So I can say that their strategy is successful. Of course the number of audience is not the same for each members but just imagine the audience that will multiply when they came back as a group 😊.

each member as im aware of it chose how they wanted to promote their albums. yoongi said he pretty much made all the decisions down to the stage performances at his concert.

Yes they are grown arse men not innocent little boys, it's like some people have this weird Peter Pan idea about the BTS members.

At the end of the day, it all comes to people individual preference. Jimin has been my bias for years but for solo music , I listen to V and Jhope albums a lot more than the others because their albums fit my taste so personally it's actually impossible to give every member the exact equal support, you can't force people to listen to songs that they don't like as much as their favourite songs.

No favouritism they all decided themselves what they wanted to do they even said so themselves and even said what they learnt from doing things they wanted to do.

Min Yoongi did enlist, however due to his shoulder surgery he doesn't qualify for active duty so he is doing alternate service. Its my understanding that Alternate Service is 22 months, whereas the active duty military enlistment is 18 months. So Min Yoongi will be done about June 20, 2025. J-Hope will be out Oct 17, 2024 and Jin will be out June 12, 2024. It was also just announced today that RM, Jimin, V, and JK have all started their proceedings for military enlistment, so they will be entering soon, we are just waiting on the official dates.

What a silly assumption a Kpop mindset assumption. BTS have complete creative freedom to do what the feck they want. They do what the want, when they want and how they want to do it. They tell the company what they want and are going to do not the other way around. They are not controlled Kpop idols.

They just announced yesterday that RM, JIMIN, V, and JUNGKOOK, have started the enlistment process. Then Jungkook went on Weverse today and left us a letter, saying that he would be leaving for his service in December. So he was the first one to get his time confirmed. JK and JIMIN are flying out tonight, I'm pretty sure that means that they will be going home to visit their families in BUSAN to spend time with them before they enlist. I could be wrong.

Very good video to explain the strategies and I must say that I am not a BTS fan, just a casual listener but I was more interested in their solo projects when they came out, some more than others, And the situation I found was that when I wanted to interact on networks to comment on the song or the album I found a wall in the fandom, where if you are not part of it and have your opinion, they take you as Only stan and opinion take it as biased.

Well, i never saw problems with casual listeners who are respectful tbh. If you say "oh i am casual listener and i like solo albums and i vibe more with Jhope and Agust D" (for example) no one will have problems. Problems start when you try to compare and pit members against eachother.
Also, idk where you tried to make your comments, maybe you choose wrong post to comment on. Also some people shitpost and present it as opinion.
So i suggest just to filter the communities you post in, cause some of them are pool of extream sides of fandom. also every fandom has them, it's just because army is huge the nber of those people also big. But i assure that if you post you opinion with respect and not belittling any member you will be ok.
Try analytical communities where they like to discuss meaning of lyrics etc, cause under some Pop base tweets you can't have any discussion cause it is full of shiposters

@@AlexaOleksa Well, I made the comment on a reaction page and at no time did I make a comparison between members, first of all because I don't know them in depth, and because my comment I was more focused on the opportunities they would have outside of the kpop circle, with the general public.
The only thing I commented was that although the fandom has guaranteed streaming numbers And the positions on BB lists
But his solo career also needed to reach non-Kpop audiences.
The reaction was not favorable and I ended up deleting the comment. You are very intense and only with your fandom have I received that reaction, with other fandoms have I had a better interaction

@@VeronicaSanchez-wj8us That's because they don't care about there fav music as much. Support isn't something the other fandoms are doing just from what I heard and see as an Army. Also mind you RUclips comments isn't mostly Army's here. I recommend sharing your opinion in Boracity channel. Yes the one Op just reacted too. That's up to you since you can get a better interaction there since those are real Army's and not those solo and shipper stans. Non of us real Army's even consider them as real fans. Just annoying suck up fans who wants the guys to do what they want and get higher success away from each other. They even want them to disband at one point.

@@7SBeatsMM7 Thanks for the suggestion, the truth is, with the different experiences that I have had that were not very pleasant, I have preferred to stay out of
And the peculiar thing is that it is with the only fandom that happens to me, with others the exchange of opinions is pleasant even when I disagree.

Right now, today we get notice from weverse that Jimin, JK,V and RM also started their military enlistment. And in my personal opinion favoritism did happened between members by the company. And the most sabotaged members is Jimin . And Bang pd did said himself that JK entire album is created by Scooter B. Specifically for JK and the company did almost half of the year to JK to promote his singles and album, give him concerts, radio interviews, western media performances and a lot of things. And to prove that not a single platform sabotaged JK weather itsMVs, charts, Billboards And awards, titles because in his album western producers and directors are involved and honestly i love JK because I'm a jikook bias but after seeing all these mistreatment i can't just unsee the things have been happening to Jimin and pretend like nothing happened, they proved this clearly their biasness because they give everything to JK and give him every title to give the first to break every record whereas the reality is Jimin break all the records first. He achieved platinum for his first official album but the label very shamelessly gives the platinum to JK just to prove BANG PD point of view that he recently gave that he want to remove K from K pop, and just to prove that point when they see Jimin breaking records with his Korean songs, they are doing everything to push him down and degrading him in their own games, they didn't restock his CDs from months because he is selling out more than JK. They split his title tracks to count no. and streams but they didn't did that to JK and his ridiculous amount of remix versions and when fans asked this why they do that to Spotify than Spotify said that the company said this to them. And they still didn't give him his platinum till now. They didn't give him enough not even 2 weeks to promote his album . They didn't did any kind of Decorations for his fan meeting while they go extra heights to decorate and booked big arenas for other members fan meetings. And there are tons of things are there with proofs and fans are protesting in front of Hybe right now. So, the fandom also showd their true colours as well , they didn't support Jimin at all but they are hating him just because of no reason and mostly are Taekook solo stans.❤️🧡💜😭😭 And to prove their points that only English songs can break records and win awards, so when Jimin starts winning, they sabotaged him so hard and still doing it now. And it doesn't make sense why did that happened only to him. And I'm not saying that anyone have to agree with anyone's opinions, it's my personal opinion from what I've seen through his whole year. So, favoritism did happened. And it doesn't make sense what Bora says about the promotion strategies between JK and Jimin. Whatever their styles are but they both are targeting western audiences. Does Dua Lipa is less successful than other Artists who do styles like JK style music, no right. It doesn't make sense at all. So, I can't agree with every part of this vedio while agree with some points. I just hope they didn't do again to Jimin otherwise the consequences might be harmful to the fandom and the members as well. But thanks for reacting anyway. ❤️🧡💞🥰

I hope you stopped believing this nonsense since this.
The vid explained it well - but if you favor only one person... well... that is not good.
JK is neurodivergent and plays well of others but alone is a bit lost - which is also why he enlisted with Jimin in a partner program.
So JK didn't write whole songs or songs that fit an album and wanted to debut before he enlisted - so he was offered songs - like likely all the other members, too - it's just that the other members had other ideas of what they wanted.
But Taehyung didn't write his album, either - he just choose less songs.
JK wanted to be a big Popstar - which is a wish not one of the other members had - in fact some wanted less interest that that and technically JK is the only member who has a Pop album at all - Pop makes numbers and Braun specifically helped to tailor the promo to an English speaking US/UK audience - since all songs chosen were English Pop songs.
(Jimin's album can be considered an R&B/Hiphop album)
And "give" a concert to JK?
He had two show cases and not more. The one in New York... kindly read the stuff written under the stage:
It was promoted/sponsored by Hilton, XBox and Calvin Klein and not by HYBE America or Big Hit Music - for the last two (XBox and CK) we have all seen JK's ambassadorship.
If Jimin was misstreated he would not have filmed a travel show with JK or come to NY to cheer on JK's debut.
You have to register sales to get a Platinum award etc. - and Big Hit Music hadn't registered anything since Dynamite hit double Platinum or so (it had at that point 5 times that). Registered were only done by other labels (when the song was over other labels like the one of Charlie Puth or HYBE America). It has since changed.
And only solos are the ones going crazy over these numbers and compare them against each other - cease, please.
You also are not very bright if you don't know that the K in Kpop is kinda idiotic.
The music may be sung in Korean but the genre is a mix of Western ones and has rarely anything to do with Korean music as it is - one of the reasons why the Korean public tends to ignore it in the first place - that is all Bang meant. Not to mention it is used to exclude Korean artists out of categories they belong into. But than I guess K-pop fans want to be lied to and Bang was too honest about that nonsense.
It took till Hobi's Jack in the Box to be included into Hiphop playlists - when a lot of their music was not actually Pop.
It's a form of segregation - especially since a lot of Idol groups are not doing Pop in the first place either.
"Didn't restock" - are you aware that they only sold these "one song" CDs in the US in the first place? (not that I think they can be counted for BB charts anyway anymore) Everything else could be bought either as a full CD or digital - no problem.
From my look at CD production last year there was a far higher demand for physical CDs than anyone - and that includes other labels - could produce. They were all downgraded.
Spotify split the streams not Big Hit - by claiming that one version had different artists in the creation process - instead of counting one version as a remix of the other. Spotify was never a friend of BTS before - deleting far too much of their streams. I think Spotify had far more trouble when they did not put Seven on their "Today's Top Hits" playlist despite the songs months long success - and maybe Braun knows how to get them to coporate better - IDK - but "Standing Next To You" did get radiostreams.
      People overidentify and frankly: cease.
What Jimin wants Jimin gets. Everything he wanted he got - always. He doesn't need anyone to "white knight" him.
Stop treating him like a child that had always been safe in a bubble - the man is far stronger than you will ever be and has climbed all those mountains and beat them.
I'm with boracity: all full solos are antis - even of the one they favor - and a lot of shippers are, too.
