  • The greenest green army man the line ever produced, there's a surprising amount to talk about when it comes to 1988's premier infantryman, HIT & RUN!

Stalker was always one of my favorite Joes because of his camo.

I remember buying this figure. It was the coolest! He was always in play and rarely sat on the bench. He often hung out the door of my Tomahawk. He was my sniper and became my Dutch after watching Predator. I recently found an Uzi in his duffle bag after being in storage for 30 years, sadly all his other gear is gone.

One of the last figures to have an older and more realistic military aesthetic as the line went off the rails from about 86 to 97.

I didn’t lose Hit & Run as a kid and I can tell you he did end up being my all-time favorite Joe! I also realized what the loop on his waist was for but it was way too hard for 8 year old me to weave a piece of string through. I struggled with it just last week.

I got this figure when my sister went to seek out the 1989 Snake Eyes. She did not find him, but brought home Hit & Run instead. Initially, I was disappointed, but I soon realized this was a great figure (the only things I did not like were those pouches on the back of his belt that stuck out awkwardly). Interestingly, Hit & Run got a lot of play while the Snake Eyes figure, when I finally got him, was disappointing and barely got any play.

One of the best figures. He was always on my 6 man teams. That were deployed from my warthog. Lol Whether it’s team leader or sniper.

Great show guys. He has always been one of my favourites and I still keep my original one, but lost the knife and the grapple is broken. About the camouflage, the inspiration for it might have come from british vehicles from the cold war era, it's very similar. Cheers.

1994 commemorative Action Marine has multi-toned camouflage, black, brown on green. I think he is the only one within ARAH. I mean, Pathfinder has two colors also, but I am not sure that color combo will work as camo. Maybe it is more of an esthetic choice with him.

Great chat guys. Hit and Run was definitely an 88 favourite and I had no idea about the loop on the figure 🤯

Belt clip for a future fanny pack accessory?

Back in the day, I had TEN of this figure since they were generic infantrymen in my Joe units, and I had equipped some of them with weapons from the first two G.I. Joe Battle Gear Accessory Packs, with one equipped with the gear of one of my least favorite Joes, Hard Ball (hated his design....just bought him for his accessories). In my War Games, I'd deploy these guys from the Night Force Night Striker (with all the gawdy Bright Orange plastic parts repainted either black or dark grey and none of the glow-in-the-dark decals applied) on a beach on the outskirts of a COBRA outpost where several A.S.P. artillery units lined a missile base.

@@CharlesK-hu1sf sounds like a good time! Typically played the good guys then? And army building Hit & Run is a sensible move; still you’re the first person I’ve had contact with who’s actually done it! Nice one.

42:11. Only ones I can think of off the top of my head are Zartan and some of the Mega Monsters and Zombies.
48:53. Put him with Low Light on Spotter and guard duty.
51:10. Gurkhas? SEAL Team (supposedly trained in traditional Apache knife fighting techniques of all things.)?
54:33. The 83 Forward Post. (Will you make exceptions for Playsets?). Has spotter telescope, tent and artillery. If not, then alternate would be I guess Hover Sled duty on the Havoc or one of the Gunnery Stations or Rappell duty on the Tomahawk. Can Hang Out with Airborne and Crazylegs. Other Two. Recon Sled. Mobile Battle Bunker.
