It’s even a retrain of a bad vanilla monster called Tomosaurus so that’s probably another pun to do with the fact that it’s a card from like OCG volume 1. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be on any of the wiki databases.

Behemoth seems especially interesting, unless I'm blind, I'm only seeing a once per turn on the attack gain so you can get 3 cards back from grave (or more if you boost its attack)
Theu do early release events 8n michigan as drafts. People use the cards though after they get them in tournaments a week or 2 before the sets officially released. I'm pretty sure the places that allow that can get in trouble then and lots of people dont know your supposed to wait if there is a rule on that. All though I've never heard a rule about that before.
Link Monsters that need big monsters to bring out are something I have always wanted as a Chaos Player to act as Semi retrains of things like CED so that you can still use it.

Pend is like the least synergistic with Chaos and the effects are niche at best. Basically the original CED is still better than the pend in most circumstances. What I wanted was something that actually synergized with Chaos plays. A link 1 that basically levels up the original CED would be amazing because not only could they give it actual effects you can use but you would be sending the CED used to the grave which is good for Chaos as it mitigates the cost of summoning it a bit. Honestly it doesn't have to be a link 1, anything that makes CED relevant again would be nice. At the moment its 99% just a 3k lv8 beater that summons itself. This goes for many monsters. I just think the idea of giving us an ED summon that uses cards like CED to relive some of the glory would be great. It would let us run our fave cards and still have them do something on brand. Especially in CED's case where they will never give it back what they took. Again, I would love a retrain that actually did something, BLS has a bunch and some of them do stuff. It just wasn't what I was talking about. That is why I said Semi-retrain since most retrains replace the original while a link 1 would work with the original.

It seems like it could be useful in some strategies, but it's just a really cool reference to a story about Oda Nobunaga, Toyomoti Hideyoshi ane Tokugawa Ieyasu, the 3 unifiers of Japan after the Sengoku Period. The three were watching a cuckoo bird and waiting for it to sing, but it wouldn't. Nobunaga said "If you don't sing, I will kill you." (Destroy this card, then draw 1 card) Hideyoshi said "If you don't sing, I will make you sing." (Discard a card, then draw 1 card) Ieyasu said "If you don't sing, I will wait for you sing." (Draw 1 card during the End Phase)
This set is really cool! I’m already hyped about the new singer dragon support, that new Fusion Armament, and the Illusion monsters but the thing that makes this set even more awesome for me is RED-EYES BLACK METEOR DRAGON!!!! Been waiting on this card for what seems like forever and now we finally have it in the TCG very cool Red-Eyes support. Now I just gotta hope they make more Red-Eyes support in the future
I had the most verbal "WHAT?!" at seeing Red-Eyes Black Meteor Dragon popping up. Was such a pleasant surprise, and I wish for more support for Red-Eyes, too.

I'd be more happy if the new cards didn't say "FIRE warrior" or "Infernoble Knight"... As it stands, only Turpin is support for proper Noble Knights, and all he does is allow the deck to Synchro summon Lv8s and Lv12s. Like, for the love of God, Konami, why are you punishing my Arthurian boys so much? Would having the effects say "Noble Knight or FIRE Warrior" suddenly make proper Noble Knights broken? Hardly.

OH. MY. GODS. Guys, this is surely the Year of the Fire, but it is the YEAR OF THE DINO as well. I freaking swear that tcg exclusives have become my favorite thing of this game. Are they broken? At all. Are they cool? ABSOLUTELY YES. First of all, there's a thing so ironic that I still can't believe it. While I was preparing for the incoming prerelease (my favorite kind of format) I said to myself "I don't think tuners are gonna be useful this time because (Gaia Blaze isn't great and) there won't be another Malong"... but here we are with this Kuibelt guy, being a dragon too. Then, Tower of the Necroworld is ironic too, because people just complained for wanting new zombie supports while Mementos aren't, but their boss monster is LV11 so this wouldn't have synergized even if. However, it's also interesting as an extender that no deck had aside for Trains, it'd be cooler if it was DARK (so we could have searched for it with Three Eyed Ghost) but still I can see it be played in some casual versions of Eldlich. Finally, I used to hate Tomozaurus as much as Little D, but now I can't but love this retrain of it, as well as the new Dino fusion which finally gives a sense of existing (kinda) to that useless couple of LV6 cybernetic dinosaurs, tho I won't obviously use Fusion Deployment but Muddy Mudragon to summon it.
Nice pulls. Its cool how most of the dinosaur support cards are common. I can't wait to get the gazelle and berfamet retrains. The Chimera fusion monsters are cool. Relinquished definitely needs an Illusion retrain. Having a toon Relinquished would be cool.
Well this besides amazing defenders, crystal revenge, monstrous revenge, power of the elements and darkwing blast are going to be my focuses for the next few months.
This set looks very nice, I was hesitant on the Illusion monsters at first but the badass art as well as the potential for easy link or fusion summoning could make them a very powerful engine potentially, or you could run them pure. Either way, I doubt they'd be competitively viable on their own yet they'd still be pretty interesting nonetheless.
