Great series. Would love a spin off where you take 2 players and bring in another pro, one is controlling the keyboard, the other is making the strategic decisions. Or even just Bringing in guests of any ELOs so discuss things with.
These rec reviews are super helpful. Just lost the same way to Cumans in the same elo bracket, and I really think my limiting factor at this point is game knowledge and decision making.

I've played against Fuzzy a time or two. His name is an homage to a CI on the show "The Wire". I can't remember if I beat him or not.
Yeah I love "the Wire" it is a great show.
Though the CI does not really exist. The cops made him up to pocket the money they supposedly gave to Fuzzy Dunlop
the real counter is castle drop right between his tcs
only works if you play a very tight fc build and then you also have to have the luck to get the castle up. They can have a little defensive army that can deny you.

I recently lost to Franks as Cumans so I thought this video would be helpful. Nope, my opponent did everything Hera said you should do in order to beat Cumans.

If red had walled, it would have been the different story.. The repeated light cav raids gave so much value.. Killed vills, Villager idle time, attention diverted.
The real way to never lose against Cumans is the TC drop. I am being completely serious. You can do this with any civilization, even Cumans. Cumans end up spending nearly 360 extra villager seconds to build a TC in feudal age, so as long as you can get a nice TC spot, you will have a huge advantage. You might think there is a significant threat of the double TC defense, but this is actually a terrible move for the Cuman player, because it counterintuitively makes it more difficult for him to take the TC fight due to the amount of resources and villager time it requires. If he tries, you will end up killing two birds with one stone, well technically two town centers with 100 stone. Something to consider is that if the Cuman player stays in dark age, he wins, but nobody does that, so no worries.

@@lelouch3 My win rate against Cumans is nearly 75%, and most of my losses to them are from before I started TC dropping them.
I do not think it will work. Do you TC drop in between the two TC or killing it one by one? Either way it will not work.
The current mata is going up at 20 pop for most builds, so the chance is your opponent will be up or nearly up when your TC finish.
If you are not Persians, you do not get any advantage in the TC fight, while your opponent's Feudal TC has a bit more armor (not sure if it helps) and it has option to upgrade with blacksmith. Moreover, Cuman player will have more vils so they can repair indefinitely and save up more res.
