I love the Bring Green Artemisia serum. It really calmed my skin when it was super sensitive due to the change of climate from hot/humid to freezing cold 😬😉 Oh, and the Rovectin lotion helped too.

wow it's so amazing Korean stores actually have testers of all the products. where i live (Europe) you have to buy the products without feeling/smelling them, and it kind of sucks, unless you do a ton of research in advance.

Why is the Olive Young global store’s selection limited compared to this? Is there some kind of logistical issue that hinders this process? Also, Amorepacific and Aritaum are huge companies and I don’t get why they don’t have online international websites when there is customer demand in the market-instead, they give companies like Sephora and Ulta a few of their products and then they r overpriced... I am so confused about these things. 😅

I know that I just see all of these barriers from the eyes of a customer and do not understand all of the details about international laws and regulations- I just thought that since these Korean companies are basically under one or two corporations that they would have the resources to get the ball going and have more products available to international customers by now. I have been following Korean skincare for years now and it’s been such a slowwww process. But, as you have pointed out there must be more behind the scenes that delay everything because what corporations wouldn’t want to expand and increase their profits...

I actually recently bought a toner/lotion from Japan and it’s called Dokudami Lotion. And I just found out that Dokudami is the Japanese name for Houttuynia Cordata! I never heard of this plant in skincare prior to this purchase so it’s nice to see that korean products also use it.

I wish I could get them here in the states that cheap still. I would buy a ton. When I used to get them, I didn't know anything about K-beauty. I just assumed they were coming from China due to the cheap price tag, but I still really liked them. However, I didn't think there was anything good for your skin in them because China, so I kind of just forgot about them. I don't think they were that popular in Korea at the time. That was about six years ago.

I have been using klairs vitamin c serum with hylorinic acid serum plus laneige sleep on mask for a few months now but unfortunately I haven't seen much improvement in my skin. I don't have pimples or any skin problems other than my dull grey looking face, I'm olive tone but I can do with just a little elasticity and glow.. not much.

That staff member from Dr. G knows what's the real deal, haha. I must agree as I was really impressed by their Royal Snail cream the I first tried it. And I love it till now. It interestingly seems quite thick and rich but once you spread it out, it does not feel like it at all. Very good for a deeper butrition and lock-in-all feeing without being too much heavy! :) P.S. a very nice video :)

I live in Korea and it's always tempting to buy skincare from Olive Young and other shops. But most skincare products have fragrance. Fragrance is a big NO for skin.Luckily, Hada Labo a Japanese brand is available here. I also recommend Etude House Soonjung line. Cerave which is not widely available in Korea is great too. I just order online.
