Hi Ujjwal, thank you for the informative video. I have a quick question for you. On page 4, Q. 2c. Have you previously applied to enter or remain in Canada? You mentioned yes. But in the comment box, you again mentioned that "Yes I applied for PGWP to stay in Canada". My question now is, you applied earlier to come to Canada to study and not pgwp. So why did you select yes? Please clarify. Thank you once again for the video!
That box is to only provide details. We applied for PGWP to remain in canada and work.

Thanks for such an informative video. However, you have skipped the past where one has to apply with their family. I got my PGWP. My wife came along with me when I was a student and she also got her SOWP. We are applying for TRV together. In the current application for TRV, there is a question" What does your family member want to do in Canada". All the option that is given is not valid. Can you kindly guide on this

Hi, inside canada process is of 30 to 50 days, you can apply for TRV in india as well but processing time is more than in canada
Hi, I got my pgwp just ast week but only for 5 months due to passport expiry. I applied for extension as soon as I got my renewed passport which was received 2 days after I got my work permit. Can I apply for TRV meanwhile?? Or do I need to wait until I get my extended work permit? Please reply.
Wait until work permit extend, if you will apply now then it can be possible that try can be issued for just limited time , as I have mentioned in video , don't include Employer name so that you can get TRV until your passport is valid , if you will enter Employer name that you will issued according to your Work permit

@@jashanpreet4395 yes you can select outside Canada the same procedure it's shown in the video as its a TRV and not Work Permit
It says that document is optional, so is not needed

hi,,thanks for the video...i have a question that my passport TRV stamp is going to expire on 30 august, today i applied for extension and no idea how much time it will take to get new trv stamp .. now the situation is that i have to go India in august and i will come back just before one day of TRV expiry...but i have my valid study permit ..so just want to know that can i travel and can come back just before one day ?

Hello Ujjwal, I don't have visitor visa option in the "I do not have a personal reference code" section. I have only IEC option available. I got work permit extension this year as my pgwp is ending this year. I got the work permit extension till Nov 2024 and I am now trying to apply TRV. Any idea what the reason is?

Hi..my TRV expired more than a month ago but my student permit and part time work permit is till march 2024. I didn't extend my TRV because a few people told me that the TRV is only to enter the country and that it's expiration doesn't matter if I have the permits. And so I decided not to extend the TRV. But now a few people are telling that I should extend my TRV. Can I still renew it even though it already expired more than a month ago?
For the question, do you want to submit an application for another family member, when selected ‘yes’ the reasons are not reflecting TRV, it’s more like extension for work permit etc…what you I do here? Should I submit 2 different applications? Please help. Thanks!

Thank you so much for the video. It's really helpful. We recently got our PGWP extension(under temporary ext. policy) and would like to apply for TRV with my spouse. There is a question in the questionnaire when I choose to apply with my spouse. What does your family member want to do in Canada? Answers are: Apply to remain in Canada as a visitor, Apply for or extend an open work permit. If I choose the second option which is to extend open work permit, the system requests me $155 work permit fee which is not supposed to be. Should I choose the first option(remain in Canada as a visitor)? But he has an open work permit and working.. I am confused.

@@hakanoksuz2314 choose apply to remain canada as visitor. Don’t pay $155. Total fee must be $100. If you apply with your spouse apply separately. Not together. I got my TRV in 3 weeks.

@@hakanoksuz2314 Rica ederim ;) Make sure you both have IMM 5257 forms. Not IMM 5708. If you apply together it shows IMM 5708 form which we shouldn't fill out, That's why I am telling you to apply separately.
Hi, in the particular section where it asks for details of visit to Canada and it says indicate how long you play to stay the date of issue of my PGWP isn't getting accepted and it asks to put a date higher than the date of issue. Please could someone tell me how to go about this and if I need to put a date higher than the date of issue or if it will cause a problem.

I hope you can help me with me question, I have 5000 canadian dollars as my funds and while uploading my documents there is no request for providing bank history details etc. the only documents asked is PASSPORT, WORK PERMIT, DIGITAL PHOTO AND THIS TRV FORM THAT YOU EXPLAINED IN THE VIDEO. So you think we have to upload an additonal document stating the proof of funds or is it okay to apply without.

For the point 7 in the Imm5257e form AT 11:20 SECOND in the From and To: Do I have to put my original entry date in Canada or the one which is in my current Work Permit? So When I came my work permit was valid for only a year but later on along with my spouse it extended for 3 year so confused her which date should I add in From(Date)?

How to fill 10 years history if I need additional columns?
Hi bro I,m a student and I had applied for TRV AND I’ve have valid TRV V-1 till January 2024 in my old passport.
And now I’ve renewed my passport and also extended my study permit for my co-op term.
And I’ve received my new study permit nd co-op permit mentioning my new passport details.
So can I apply for TRV again to extend it further on my new passport ?

@@savneetkaur6303 I entered the date I was filling the form and submitted and got my TRV approved. So I guess we do not have a choice but fill today’s (day you are filling the form) date.
