    for the electrical re charge i would install a canopy for the rear of the little boat and install a 100 watt solar panel folding or permanent installed, the 100 watt per hour makes 5.15 amps back into the battery per hour, something to thing about, unless your into ROWING HOME?

      Definitely something to consider! I've never gone below 60% battery on my new deep cycle but could be a great solution for when I do the intercoastal waterway!

    Years ago I got a Bantam Bass Tracker from Cabelas and it had a rod locker and a small live well in the middle. It was a great boat. Wish they would make these newer boats like that. Most of the time I used the live well for storage, which worked out great.

    I have owned 3 of these boats.I really like them.The only thing I don’t like is the raised “cup holders” on top of the deck.They are totally useless and get in the way of your rods when you lay them on the deck.I also make aluminum skid plates and epoxy them to the bottom corners of the boat,as I have burned holes in the corner from dragging the boat over rocky surfaces,causing the inner hull to fill up with water.

    • @GreysonRoberts
      @GreysonRoberts  11 месяцев назад

      The cupholders are worthless that's why I just put a fish finder in one. I've seen some mods to improve them but I just bring my drinks in sealed hydroflask water bottles

      @@GreysonRoberts I have the 10-1/2 footer.I only use 1 seat,so I cut a piece of composite deck material that fits where the seat goes and mounted my fish finder on it.I really love these boats.It’s getting harder to unload from my truck,as I am 65 years old and have a bad back.Fishing has always been my passion since childhood.I have been fishing local tournaments for the last 25 years.I honestly use this boat much more than my 18-1\2 ft tournament boat.

    Part of the reason I got rid of this style boat was the need for a trailer and lack of maneuverability. However, I miss the stability and ability to bring a friend along. I stuck with my fishing kayak, but I often think about it.

    I'm actually looking at getting one of these in the next few days. It's a very simple affordable option to get 2 people on the water and do some fishing. I think the fact it comes with the 2 seats is a huge plus. To have to buy them separately would be roughly an extra $150-$200 from the prices I've seen. Was curious about stability but I think you just summed that up pretty well in your vid. My mind is made up I believe.Should be on the water soon !!!
