A X-ray of wavelength λ when incident on the (101) plane of a cubic lattice with lattice constant a produces first order Bragg's reflection at 0=30° (grazing angle). Suppose that lettice is compressed along the 3-axis so that lattice parameters along the x and y axes remain the same while the along the 3-axis become a/(sqrt(3)) * The first order reflection for the (101) plane of the compressed lattice occurs at-
    A. 30 degree
    B. 15 degree
    C. 45 degree
    D 60 degree

      For 1st case d=a/√2
      For 2nd case d=a/2
      As sin@=n lambda / 2d
      So sin@1/sin@2=d2/d1
      On solving we get
      Sin@=1/√2 so @=45 degree

In the x-ray diffraction for tantalum powder, the following angles were obtained using radiation of wave Length 0.15406nm 19.6,28.1,35.1,41.5,47.7,54.1,54.1,60.8,68.9.
    Find, I,)the corresponding lattice planes.
