I think I will be the second person in Vegas to own the same 10 Micron package . I look forward to watching your learning curve while I wait until mine arrives in the next few months. Im shifting from ASIair to NINA because of its ability to do unguided dithering (as well as being a wonderful piece of software).
@@GalacticHunter Two advantages for us 10 Micron owners (me almost) is this....First, NINA supports unguided dithering. And Second, Im able to reduce mirror flop on my EdgeHD 11 OTA by using the Optec Leo focuser. I focus and lock down the mirror and place Leo in the optical train where it will do all the auto focus functions. This is important when building unguided models (which can be a quick easy process when done a few times). Of course NINA's GUI and feature support is another reason. :)
This reminds me of one of your first videos where you unboxed the Atlas EQG and the Orion newt. Your channel has come a long way since then! Always enjoy your videos. Hope you and Dalia are doing well. Clear skies 🌌

It looks very nice and good quality, but why is there a separate control box? why is it not integrated into the mount?
Mostly because if you have any issue with the electronics you can just send the control box back for repairs instead of the entire mount :)
