isolation transformer would do you a world of good worrying about those metal screwdrivers. I wish bush had marked where the mask goes on these old round tubes.
The whole bench is fed by an isolation transformer, I wouldn't workn on live chassis stuff without one. The reason I was being careful with the screwdriver is because it's very close to the mains fuse and didn't want to short to chassis. These old tellys are fun, aren't they! 👍
Thank you, ive just bought one of these, excellent informative video.
Have fun.....they are great tvs when finished. Any questions...feel free to ask 👍👍
Brilliant collection of videos detailing the restoration of this iconic set. Congratulations, and many thanks for sharing your work!
The quality of these videos is great. Definitly deserve more views!
I've been cleaning inside tvs for years with a vacuum cleaner no issues...I read somewhere be very careful because of static build up!!!
Many thanks for the kind words! I hope to post some more videos soon. 👍
great work! why do you put red paint on the solder joints?

Nice set of videos. I suspect I might know the owner of the set as I know he was having it restored. Thanks for uploading, Daz
