I feel you about Instagram! I really annoyed by IG reels most of the time, how the loud music always startled me if I ever mistakenly open them 😓 So glad to hear your talking voice in the Studio Vlog again.. I really enjoying watching your YT videos, they're all so calming and beautiful. Wish you a wonderful holiday Julianna!
Yes, they make me feel so distracted and frantic! Plus, they are such a time suck. Thanks for your nice feedback about my voiceover! I hope you have a lovely holiday as well:)
I'm sitting here working on some last minute Christmas gifts (ornaments on 300lb watercolor paper in gouache), and watching your video! I can really relate to the IG conundrum; I've not been very active on the platform for over a year because I find it exhausting to try to reach an audience. Let alone even try to do all the "extras" (reels, etc.) that seem to be what IG is pushing. I'm trying to get my little art/illustration business up and running in 2022, and have decided that IG is not going to be my primary focus. It's too much investment of time for the return. And at least with YT there is the possibility of monetization in the long run, which I feel can help a bit with the time and effort put into making content. I somehow didn't realize you have a Patreon, and went ahead and signed up! That's become one of my favorite ways to support makers and artists I admire. :)
Oh, thanks so much for signing up for my Patreon!! Yeah, being able to monetize on RUclips is huge! On instagram they want you to pay them to be more visible, which I'm like, no 🙄
I so enjoy your art and always fancied a life of illustrating and writing children’s books but I know It would not be as serene as what’s in my head, I would hate the deadlines🤪. Your art is beautiful💕
As a viewer, I'm with you about IG vs RUclips. And I appreciate this kind of video. I'm wondering, if you're between projects, what if you made up a project for yourself as a demo of what it's like for you on a actual assignment? Would that work? I love your style. Thanks for your channel.
I love watching cosy studio vlogs
Thanks! I tried to make it cozy so I'm happy to hear that's how it made you fee:)

I’m so happy to see you’re doing YT. I’ve been a long time fan and it’s so fun to see your process and what you’re up to. The kitties are so cute too!
Thanks so much, I'm glad you're here:)
Watching from the FAROE ISLANDS, I bought the PDF of these beautiful tags.
Hi Claire! Hope you're staying warm & cozy out there:)

Wow. I’m really missing out on half of my art production by not knowing how to use Photoshop!! Ugh, I need to learn.

Thanks! Yes, it is a great line of work, but has it's issues and stress just like any job:)

That's an interesting idea, it would definitely be easier to film! I'll keep it in mind:)
