I think everyone who blames Zak about Daniel leaving has clearly never listened to him talking about Daniel. I really like how Zak's been managing everything in McLaren since he entered his position back in 2016. We're gonna miss Andreas though this year, but surely Andrea Stella will do a great job. Loved this interview, hoping to see what happens next year and maybe we can celebrate Lando's first win anytime soon 🤗🤗

Pato and Lando have millions of fans/followers here in USA . . . although I had watched F1 once in a while, when Lando, Charles, George and Alex started their silly iracing (lawnmowers, racing backwards) on YT we all got involved. We all started following Pato b/c of his youth and exuberance. Team Papaya.

We can hope. As an Aussie, we love to see our fellow Australians and our Kiwi cousin's do well in any international sport.
It is worrying that some amazing F1 drivers have struggled to drive a mclaren race car fast and consistently with confidence. Lando is the exception as he has never driven anything else. Great driver. Recent history with Alonso, Sainz and now Ricciardo is a sad chapter that hopefully closes next year.

Zack seems like he has a really big heart. When you see someone like him succeed ie season 6 episode 3 of the Drive to Survive F1 Netflix series, you can see how much people want to support him, which isn't what is significant, what is significant is the gamble he takes on what he believes in. You literally tear up when see the changes of the car succeeding and his gamble pay-off the way he did it's just that, he really cares. Honestly he is just an outstanding human being from what i can see and for real, he should be very proud of himself. Not arrogantly aside from the healthy selfishness for competing, but in regards to his character and how he can do things like betting on what he feels is right at the level that he is. Keep it pushing and keep excited like you are man, you love what you do and it's soo cool to witness. You are really just an extraordinary human being.

Being candid myself as a McLaren fan.. quite the disappointing season. 2020/21 we had cars that looked good for a podium at a lot of races, finished 3rd in the constructors.. won a race last year, should've won two. And this season, one podium for Lando alone, best of the rest in the Championship but behind Alpine in the Constructors due to Daniel's form. On reflection was Daniel's move to the team a good idea? Prolly not, its a mystery to me why it couldn't come together even after winning a race.. but we move forward with Piastri who can hopefully hit the same standards Lando does, rookie season or not the kid has bags of potential. Ultimately Lando has said he doesn't expect the car to be where it should be til 2024.. but hopefully that doesn't mean next year can't be a decent improvement on this year.

You yapped off about Daniel being disappointing, then hid at the bottom of a press release two days later that Daniel's car was broken. You threw him to the media wolves ahead of Monaco and let them descend when you KNEW that the team wasn't holding up its end of the deal, either. You sat back and watched as the journalists hounded and harassed him and then you started shopping his seat.

Anyone would think McLaren is an American company? Watch this space. Its only a matter of time. Zac will soon negotiate a full American buy out. And if he had his way the Road Car Company and McLaren F1 would move to America. The latter only being held back because of logistics.
I like Zac, his heart is in the right place, yet what has he actually done for McLaren F1? If he doesn't start pulling his finger out soon, and get the team back to where it rightfully deserves to be, I can see him being back in America.

Only because the insurances. The insurances alone build 2 teams for 10 years. You know exactly where I'm coming from. I don't want to take away from it building the World thru racing

I simply don’t trust Zak Brown - And he certainly spends too much of the time outside the office playing with all his toys. The way the dirty washing with Ricardo was handled this summer with Ricardo showed his lack of management.

Zak Brown has been a CF. Just look at the HUGE multi $M mistakes he's made already. Dropping Honda, signing DR. Then dumping DR. Crappy car for years.
