Hack Snyder Those mfs at Marvel Studios got us on that good shit lol. We’re crackheads for the MCU, but I don’t mind this being its own thing. Just imagine though, since they said all the extra characters after release are free, what if they bring in MCU suits and outfits and as well as comic accurate suits later on?
at least the hulk looks similar to the movie.
I guess if they did, then some way fans will think it is connected to MCU, so that's why they probably took a new take on it.
Even though i want them to look like MCU character but they still got a great cast for this. And they said there's gonna be more characters for free later on and no lootboxes. And they also revealed Hank Pym' Antman or Giantman is gonna be in this.
They revealed captain marvel, ms. Marvel (the stretchy lady who can go giant or giganta size her body parts), spiderman, and wolverine from a social media post a day ago

They actually said that every new character will be regularly released at no additional charge so you won’t have to worry about paying for characters.

They look fine maybe you’re just too used to the MCU I don’t know but like what was said in the reaction the game differentiates from the movie which is amazing I think this will invite something different for the characters. I know so many people said the same thing about Spider Man for his game 2016 next thing you know everyone loved it

Jaby you need to watch the conference itself to get a better understanding of what this game is about and what it will in-tale on release and later on.
I'm way to used to seeing the MCU actors the only ones who look similar are Banner & Stark.

They made it very clear that any additional character or dlc coming is coming at no additional cost also , no microtransactions or loot boxes so not to worry about that also the early beta access is only for PlayStation and their is going to be special benefits due to them partnering with PlayStation !

It’s really nice that they got the same people who voice Thor and black widow from avengers assemble. And how Troy Baker voices Hawkeye in avengers assemble and now he voices Bruce banner in this

When i first watched this trailer i became speechless i mean juzt look at the graphics it looked so real that for a second we thought we r seeing a part of an mcu film!!
It will be a co-op up to 4 player online and it will have content updates for few years after the launch AND every new hero every new place will be add to the game will be free AND thay promises tht there is no pay to win and random lot box, that's what we know about it
I watched the trailer last night and I am so whelmed by the game.... Not sure what I was expecting, but it was not what they showed... It's not that I was expecting to see the movie cast in the game, but the models they went with are just so odd... Also, there is a joke going around that shows the team all together, followed by the scene from Spaceballs where its their stunt doubles and then the commander yelling that they captured their stunt doubles, and that is the perfect analogy for this game. It feels as if each character is the stunt double to the real character model. Also, why in the hell is Cap wearing body armor and Black Widow is wearing a half zipped black leather cat suit? He is a super soldier and is pretty capable of taking a punch or even a bullet, and yet he is the one wearing the hockey pads... I really hope that they correct the ship over the next year, because if they do not, I can see this game having a Metacritic score of around 70.

I agree with you about the characters, it threw me off when cap began to speak and Thor not being the funny one
The look of certain characters threw me off, but they eventually grew on me.
I think it would be less jarring if they used a few different heroes than the line-up from the movies - still feature the OGs, but have them appear at other points in the game. That way it doesn't feel like some kind of cheap imitation, even though I know it'll probably be great overall

They're a different universe, the marvel gaming universe. This Marvel's Avengers is in the same universe as Marvel's Spiderman, so if they had the same faces it'd be weird since they'll have a different Spiderman

I personally don't want the characters to look exactly like the movies but I do wish that they change both cap and thors costumes to look more like the movie portrayals. Also I really hope they connect this game with the spider-man game and create an entire marvel game universe, that would be so cool and hopefully they some how include both the xmen and fantastic four in the mix but thats asking a lot.

It's odd. Everyone was thrilled and loved Spider-Man PS4 even though he didn't feel like Toby, Andrew, or Tom, but people feel more upset when the Avengers aren't like their MCU counterparts.
Didn't particularly like the character models..but overall looks alright to me. Hoping I get more excited for it in the future.
I think the fact that the outfits are pretty much exactly the MCU outfits make the characters look like Cosplayers. It's weird. Also Nolan North as Tony Stark is also weird, because I always hear Nolan North. (who plays Nathan Drake and has a show Retro Reply on RUclips)

I disagree with it being based on the mcu in terms of the character designs and voices. If anything I like that it’s original and more comic based than movie based. I like the voices and face designs (most of them) because they look like the comics versions of the characters

They have nothing to do with the mcu, like spider-man, hence they look different. A younger Hank Pym will be in the game too, unlike in the movies. This is Crystal Dynamics version of the marvel universe, you shouldn't play down their vision just because the movies are more familiar to you. I'd like the 616, mcu, and video game universe to stay separate so that it won't risk deviating from each other.

@@jasonx350z4 Not sure if it will be story mode co-op. I think there's supposed to be a demo reveal today or something. Maybe they will mention something about it. They just said co-op will be available online so I think it's just gonna be an online mode.
So the official cast for the game is Laura bailey as black widow, nolan north as Tony stark, troy Baker as Bruce banner, travis Willingham as thor, and Jeff Schine as captain America. Jaby this is gonna be connected to spiderman ps4 so they're gonna be different to the mcu. It sounds like you're complaining that its not mcu the video game. You're just gonna have to accept that you're not getting the marvel studios avengers as a video game. I mean they're drawing from both those films and the comic books so they're gonna look similar. But who knows maybe as dlc they'll give you mcu skins
By what I'm seeing I'm just happy there's no mortal kombat style fighting. I hate that style of one on one fighting. Injustice did that and i was so upset...
