Thank you David, it does mean a lot to us to get positive feedback like this. We have both been training hard through the winter months in order to enjoy these days out on the bike and editing a short video like this can take up to a week in spare time to put together, but it is also part of the fun . Take care David and enjoy your Easter break.
Mike needs a lot of praise and encouragement Nick, otherwise anything can happen 😁 and thank you for your kind words and continual support. It is greatly appreciated.
Ha ha thanks Jay, we're kinda taking the Micky , not mentioning any names, but there are some cycling channels out there that seriously need to look at what they are saying and neef to produce better content for the subscriptions they have and the views they are getring. I'm just glad that I work for a living and it's all a bit of fun this RUclips malarkey 😆
Great ride lads, I did that road but the opposite way from Bolton Abbey to skipton couple of weeks back beautiful, can wait to see the statue I will be saying shepherds built that everytime i pass it now
It's a great road Jimbo, a hidden gem for sure. As for Mike's interpretation of architecture and landscapes, I would take it with a pinch of salt lol ....
Another top ride and video Daz, was at Hebden bridge and Holmfirth last weekend on a little break with the missus, some big climbs around ur part of the world 🤪 i drove down Cragg Vale and was sweating seeing the cyclists climbing it 🤪😅😅🤣🤣🤣🚴♂️🚴♂️👍
We live in a very hilly place Terry and you can't go wrong with Hebden Bridge these days for a nice afternoon out trying the local ales. Cragg Vale is also a great descent if you get the trade wind and visa versa going up it but then again if you were over on the other side near Holmfirth, them hills are are even higher up ! Thank you for the great comments too. All the best from me n' Mike ...
I can recommend the Abbey Tea Rooms too - just a bit further along the road from Tea on the Green - near to the junction with the A59. Last time I was there, the Brownlee brothers were in with some very posh bikes parked outside
I'll sponsor you a cup of soup Daz 😂 Another great vid, really look forward to the content you make this year. I do hope Mike gets some black pudding soon, I bet he's having withdrawals.
Ha ha, some great comments there James. We do it for the love of cycling and to share our experiences with people like yourself. I think on the next video, Mike's back on the Black puddings though. Take care James 😁
Is it with discs or rim brake. They make a good entry level model with shimano 105 . All the best Tim and enjoy your cycling. You can't beat that feeling of fresh air on your face.
@@MrDazP1adv3ntures it’s with rim brakes, I’m picking it up this weekend hopefully. Might take a while to get used to it as I’ve only ever had mountain and hybrid bikes. Thanks Daz, great inspiring videos mate 👍🏻.
Great video, yours are the best compared to others, lots detail about the ride and plenty of video footage which I like, look forward to seeing more, 👌 I cycle to hebden on a Saturday morning often
@@MrDazP1adv3ntures your welcome, It’s a nice place is hebden to ride to and have breakfast, I could never do the miles you do, my knees hurt after about 30 miles, must be an age thing
You just have to build up to things steadily and make sure the bike fit is correct. I did 80 miles on Friday, 90 miles Saturday and might nip out down to Tod in a while and get a 30/40 miler done. The weather's been great recently which helps.
No worries Mark .You can't beat a flat ride either. I managed a nice 30 miler this evening towards Tod and the tail wind made for a great spin down the valley. I guess living where I live means you have a chance of a big hill in most directions no matter which way you go
Ha ha cheers lcsdw01, unlike all the other cycling RUclips channels who tell you how fortunate they are or privaliged they are to have Ribble bikes handed on a plate to em, me and Mike just get on with it. I hope Mike gets sponsored one day by Bury Black Puddings though......🤣
Darren you can bypass the level crossing near Skipton by turning left just before it the follow that path and take a right. Just discovered this last weekend. Saves a bit of time waiting for the trains to pass. Great video again!
We just found that out a couple of weeks ago because like Daz says the level crossing is always closed, as it was for us a couple of weeks ago. We had someone who had asked to sit on the back with us, which was fine but as we got near there we heard him say he is bypassing the crossing. Last we saw of him but that and your post helps us for next time, when of course there will be a train coming. Cheers.
Hello mrdazp1, nice to see you keeping fit on your pushbike but it’s been a long time since you made a gold prospecting video….. are you planning on getting out soon or have you given up, hope that’s not the case. Your video’s have educated me on how to find the good stuff and they are really well edited, it’s almost like watching a movie. Would like to team up with you one day and help you make a video, you always say you need a caddy lol.
Hello John and thanks for the kind words , they are greatly appreciated. I've been a bit slow off the mark kickstarting my 2022 gold panning season and am looking forward to getting to a river soon. The restrictions on the well known Welsh rivers have really cocked things up to be honest and I loved being there. I have my sluice and backpack all at the ready , I just need to stop going out on the bike lol.😁
Thanks for Sharing Daz. Really well put together video. Keep them coming. Mike is a legend in the Scone world.

Best wishes to you 👍👍😀

Yet another brilliant video Daz, look forward to more coming out in the future
Thank you Paul, it's a great little loop with some lovely lanes.
Brilliant descent is Blackstone, well done lads 👏
It is a cracker Mark. I have a few more descents from a recent ride into the Peak District.
Brilliant again chaps lovely round that part. Gated road is a cracker.
Cheers Gary, it's a lovely part of the world for sure. Hope you are on the mend too.

Thanks Wayne, I seem to be getting more outtakes than actual filming these days.😁
Was on those roads around Skipton, Embsey and Bolton Abbey a couple of weeks ago, gorgeous place to ride. Thanks for posting.
They are great roads C1967 I have been cycling around here since I was 13 years old and still love it
