Given the findings on thermal-lined tennis bags, it is reasonable to question the effectiveness of thermal-lined pickleball bags as well. The evidence suggests that thermal linings in tennis bags often do not significantly protect racquets from temperature extremes. This likely holds true for pickleball bags, which use similar materials and design principles.

I can't speak to any tennis bags or any testing around that, but in our tests, we've anecdotally experienced a noticeable difference in paddle temperature when using thermal lining vs no thermal lining. In our eyes, this is just a case of "better safe than sorry" where we prefer to do everything we can to keep the temp down-especially in hot climates. Obviously the best case scenario though is to try and keep your paddles out of super hot environments (cars, garages, etc.) as much as possible. To your point though, each consumer needs to decide if thermal lining as a feature is important to them.
Regardless, we appreciate your feedback and insight! At the very least, this has inspired us to try and work on some before/after testing to show in videos. 😃
