South Wing - In Memory of Elizabeth Reed at High Rock Outfitters (ABB Cover)

A cut from one of our 2013 appearances at HRO in Lexington, NC. If you perform music for a long time, you find your band in some weird venues like this one. A typical foothills outfitter during the day, they move the racks of paddles, life preservers, boots and wetsuits aside, hoist the canoes and kayaks and open the bar. The owners have built a soundproof cubical in the counter so they can keep an eye on their daughter while they run sound and pour drinks.
We made an unbelievable $2000 passing the hat among the Piedmont hippies who come into town, including a $400 tip from one dude who said he followed the Allman Brothers and WE WERE BETTER. I love drunks.
Tough cover, but we managed to brass our way through some of the shaky changes, I think.
