I've stopped using Topaz products, at least in the short term. I don't like the way my images get reformatted. Using other images to correct mine isn't something I want done.

Apart from the main subject of Noise reduction and sharpening you answered a query of exporting and bringing into Lightroom. That made my day. Thanks for posting. Excellent as usual.

You, and Topaz, have advised that Denoise is used before any processing, sharpening is done last in the processing workflow, then, if needed, Gigapixel is used to upsize the finished image.
Why, then, should we use Topaz AI when it does everything at the start of the workflow.

Great video, and helpful series. You used the TPAI sharpening, with "subject only" selected. I have seen that the subject detection isn't that great for landscape images. I recommend hovering over "subject detected" up in the autopilot to see what is selefcted, and then adjust the sharpen subject-only switch as required.

It is fun to have these AI driven applications that help nudge a good image into a better one - composition is still king.

Love the use of the "auto import." So you can more easily find that "auto import" folder, you might consider renaming it to "_Auto Import" and that will force it to the top of your folder stack in LRC.

Can I create a catalog similar to Capture One - My Capture One will no longer load (error message everytime it asks for license key) and I'm looking for a goo replacement fast - I've wasted 3 hours today trying to get Capture One to Load and no luck

I seldom like the sharpening from Topaz (Sharpen AI or Photo AI). For fine detail in wildlife photos (hair or feathers), I much prefer using the Texture slider in Lightroom.

Does this workflow lose the ability to apply lens corrections?
How would you handle the the situation where the image has already been processed through photo AI and Lightroom/Photoshop and you then need to upscale for a larger print?

The more i use 'photo ai', the more it seems better to use the individual programs. I primarily use this software for noise reduction and the options in denoise seem to be double what photo ai offers. Are there more noise reduction options in photo ai that i'm not seeing.

When the app was new and terrible I got it for free. Now they want to charge extra for it even though I have the photo bundle. They can keep it.

I've been using, evaluating (& updating weekly) & haven't paid anything yet.
