PODPORA/KOHYT/video by L.ADEL - Insides (trailer)

INSIDES - the musical piece accompanying the video is intended for four-channel projection. It was recorded by the duo in a specific space - on the proscenium of an opera-house stage, with carefully placed microphones. The original concept involves listening to it in complete silence and darkness of the Black Room in the Artists' Colony in Gdańsk so that the listeners feel immersed in the recorded space and sounds generated by the performers - from very subtle preparations of the piano and gramophone records, to amplified bones, to the strong impacts of stones thrown onto the wooden floor under the piano. The surrounding sounds become close to the body, they enter inside. The video created for the piece by Laura Adel goes even deeper - exploring the seemingly tough, impenetrable form of a rock, yet showing the unknown landscapes of its interior.
