from what ive heard others speculate, when a song leaks that has a sample and it blows up, the sample holder will probably want a bigger cut than originally negotiated and thus the deal falls through

Angelo Badalamenti composed the original piece in 1989 or 1990 for Twin Peaks, it’s called “Laura’s Theme”. It was sampled by Moby to make his song “Go” in 1991 which is where this version of the sample originated, Pierre and/or Swvsh (conflicting reports) created this flip in 2018.
