@Axel Yehuda Why would you do that? I don't use Instagram. Is it a place to cheat? I ask out of ignorance. If you need to hack your girlfriends account, is she really worth having as a girlfriend? I hope you didn't find anything hurtful. If she's hiding her account from you then either it's none of your business, or likely you're going to find something not so good?

Get this cook book folks. It's fun to just look through even if you aren't cooking. Great photos and recipes and well laid out and a great value. My wife and I love the book and use a recipe at least once per week. Thank you for a great cook book Sahil. I hope you sell a million of them or more. My favorite recipe so far is the pork fried rice (cauliflower rice).

@@peaches.peachy You can always substitute similar things. I think Psyllium husk is healthier since it basically just fiber, which is largely why I think he went with Psyllium Husk. You could use almond flour, coconut flour, even pork rings for the breading part, with the pork rings probably being the most unhealthy but most tasty.
Things like chicken thighs can easily be substituted for chicken breast. As long as you season it the same way, it should taste fairly similar. The main differences will be in the texture and the juiciness of the chicken.

Okay, gave this a try tonight. I was so surprised by how good the psyllium husk worked! I tossed the pieces 5 at a time in a bowl of the breading, tossed them around and then took them out one by one. The sauce was not to my taste, but I probably put the wrong proportions in. It needed to be sweeter and more acidic. But I will try again!

I haven't tried your recipe, but I heard you mention the chicken loses crunch after a while. Well the same problem actually occures with a regular flour coating. A trick that I learned from a Chinese classmate is to fry the chicken twice. Then it keeps its crunch. No clue if it will work the same with a non-flour coating. But you can always give it a go. Hope this helps. Take care!

We cook all kinds of things like BBQ pork, ðumplings, beef and broccoli, sweet and sour pork, fried rice and wonton soup. Now i think we'll have to add this General Tso's Chicken. And I love the idea of breading the chicken pieces on Psyllium husk. I'll try it for the sweet and sour pork as well, just as soon as i can ketofy the recipe. Thanks so much.

Between the fun banter about coating the chicken, having a fantastic BM the next morning and your dad talking about the origin of General Tso - I am completely entertained and wanting to try the recipe. Regularity is important. 😆😂 This would be a good way to prepare Gobi Manchurian or chili gobi with a few tweaks! Just give it all a good mix. Or toss. Or whisk.😜 PS I voted Dad would say it’s well seasoned. He seemed on the fence though.

A suggestion for keeping the crunch might be to double fry it. So half fry it for a few minutes, then let it cool slightly, then fry it again. the crunchiness should last longer. I do this when I make flour coating. might work for psyllium husk also

Your dad is just too cool. I'd like to see him and your wife do a taste test with you. That could be comedy gold.

This is the one dish I did not want to give up when I started my Keto Journey 5 + years ago . I promised myself if I lost weight & didn't cheat for 3 months .. I could treat myself to Chinese 1- 2 time's a month … I kept my word & Now I'll make this it's much more healthier :) lol Think I may thicken the sauce with a little gurgum < spelling is off ??

Sure I can tell you my mistakes lol I think I should of breaded them each separately . I just poured the husk in the bowl with the egg mixture . It was too think of a coating for my liking . After fried the pieces came out nice & crispy . I made the broth as he did & used some thickener . Don't do it !! It made the chicken pieces slimy :( Some time's changing up recipes works , but mine didn't . Good luck :)

He is going to like it. You need to add a little more heat to the sauce and then BAMM! Perfect.

I put breading in a big plastic Ziploc bag and do the shake and bake method
