In other words the kids were competing with his wife? How do they know if Sinatra wanted what his wife did since he left most of his money and assets with her? No wonder their marriages didn't last because they focused on his father's.

In 94" I saw Frank at the Dessert Inn in Las Vegas, Later that night Sam Butera and Keely Smith were at the Starlight Lounge. Franks show was done at 10PM.. Sam and Keely did not end until 1 AM. That's when Frank came down to the lounge with his entourage. The house had set up tables,,with ice buckets and a bottle of Jack. A few snacks, and a dish of red life savers. Sam , Keeley and Frank then sat around in the lounge until 4AM. I was lucky to witness it all. 1994, Frank seemed out of it then too but came alive with Sam and Keeley. I will never forget that night.
This video of Frank breaks my heart. And the fact that Frank established this Tournament to raise money for a charity he started in Barbara's name and she dragged him out looking awful gives me lots of insight why Frank's three children wanted nothing to do with her. She lived 20 years after he died. He picked her but this does not show her or her intentions in a good light.
She was TERRIBLE. absolutely disgraceful. She put him back on stage at this golf tournament in 1995, a year after this video when he was in bad shape, just so he could make a few more bucks. Then of course the family wants to bury any mention, sound or video of that show. Its a historical moment, and should be shown.
Well like you said he picked her and so it’s not her fault and yes when you marry a much younger person they will live longer. But I’ve been in show business all my life and people like Frank Sinatra don’t want to set by the fire they want to go out because it keeps them alive.
What do you mean she dragged him out? How do you know if he wanted to be there? It looks like she was assisting him because he was much older and he's the one who reached his hand out. That was his wife and the person who was by his side until he died. His kids moved out of their father's house when they became adults and had their own families to attend to.
