Hi. Only now noticed your question. My apologies. Large caliber guns are usually recommended on tiny antelope due to them being less destructive. Smaller bullets travelling at higher speeds tend to smash your trophy to pieces, instead a larger bullet at a reasonable speed just punches a hole.
Thank god its real hunters... One of the last videos i saw was a disaster. A very pale, very pale humongoys fat, about 300-400pounds old american hunter, he sounded like a hippo after a marathonrun...swetting like crazy....he shoot 7shoots at a buffalo...bad ones.... That was a disaster....

Thank you for the well received comments Clifford. The rifle used was a .458 Lott and the ammunition was self loaded 480gn Woodleigh bullets.

Hi. Yes it was a legal hunt with all paperwork in place. Lions were wild with no human imprinting and hunted on 40’000 acres of land.
