Hello CONGRATULATIONS ❤🎉 beautiful my nurse practitioner just discovered I have two fibroids during a vaginal ultrasound one is .3cm and the other one being smaller, my fibroids are genetic every woman in my family either had them or currently have them.My cycles are normal (heavy only 2 days) I haven't had any cramps since the removal of my appendix June 15, 2022. My follow up appointment is set with the surgeon (regarding fibroids) on May 18, 2023. I am not sure what he will suggest, I'm open to surgery. Any suggestions?

Hey Khadijad! Thank you so much! My fibroids were also genetic, my mom actually had fibroids while pregnant with me that gave her no problem & she’s never gotten them removed. I believe it just depends on the placement of them. My fibroids were hindering me from getting pregnant we believe so it was just best to remove them. Also, my fibroid was on the larger side and causing abdominal pains. I didn’t even know that I had another growing on top of that until after they removed them. So I suggest you do whatever you feel comfortable with honestly, if they are causing pain and discomfort then you may need to think about getting them removed but keep in mind that they don’t usually just go away on their own.
