I just replaced LCD digitizer screen on my Samsung S8. when I tested it before installation, the screen was working fine. Now that I installed it on the phone, it powers up, but doesn't show any images and the screen is totally black, no matter what I try. I checked all the connections and the battery are fine. Any idea? Thanks!
You should juse dc to power it on with Phone Repair Tools Power Data Cable DC Power Supply Phone Current Test Cable with USB Output for iPhone Sony Samsung instead of take the chip of 2 time. By doing this it will maybe show you power on the device first and the remove the chip. Sometime the battery need to charge. you can also juse thermal camera and find the problem faster. But anyway good video.
Do you have any videos testing the Wifi chip on a s8+? I have a cell phone i was cleaning water stains off and after i cleaned the U401 wifi chip 1kl KM7223042 J11 the phone no longer passes "Powered By Android" boot up. I really want to rescue my pics in this phone. I dont care about the phone, jus5 want it transfered.
my s8plus screen went yellow and white and goes off and comes back normal and goes black but the LCD is on ive tried restarting but yet the same problem
My s8+ fell in the water, and it was my stupidity that instead of letting it dry I kept playing COD (call of duty) and the screen then went black. But the touch is still working I can hear the tap sounds and can even play music and type password but the display is black. Idk what to do the technicians are off because of the countrywide lockdown..

What is the name of the chip I need one. Also what about the old soder? Does the old soder just need cleaned before putting the new chip on?
