    I love how younger people make fun of the 80's music but the talent level between then and now isn't even close to the same level. no special effects, no autotune, etc. you had to be a real musician back then. BEST MUSIC EVER!

    Imma air guitarist but I can say VITO is one of the best guitarist whose solos, styles, dynamics and riffs are more memorable than many of his contemporaries. He deserves more honor and mentions like Randy Rhoads and Nuno Bettencourt who can turn lukewarm songs very interesting to listen.

    Man Vito Bratta. His playing is absolutely perfect. Every fucking note, every little technique he uses, it's all so deliberate and serves the song in such a way that the songs, particularly the solos, become little works of art.
    I think Vito is the perfect example of what you get when you have someone who can shred, but doesn't have the shredder mentality. He's not trying to be the fastest. Instead, he's using that ability to enhance the musicality of his work. It's all in service of what actually matters, and no other guitarist did that.
    I don't care how good you are at guitar - Vito Bratta absolutely schools everyone, because he has something more important, and while he probably isn't the fastest or most proficient guitarist of all time, his work imo has a level of genius to it similar to someone like Mozart. It goes so far beyond everyone else that he makes even the greatest guitarists look like amateurs.
    I seriously think his level of talent is a one off. We'll never get something like that again.

    • @mattlewis6833
      @mattlewis6833 2 года назад +13

      It’s like crossing Eddie Van Halen and a classical artist like Mozart agreed. He had a genius ear and was more melodic and innovative than other guitarists at that time. Vito and Mike were great at layering electric and acoustic guitar sounds together for a more pure and emotional sound.

My Boston, Scorpions, Foreigner n alot more CDs went missing all of a sudden so i kept buying more and still went missing. Only to find out each one of my kids have them haha😄

      I'm the same age as you my girlfriend's I always under 32 33 .I'm always with the younger girls but anyway they asked me about the 80s all the time they love this kind of music they love the guys that sing it to. People know about it man it was a special time the record company Sadly won't do contracts cuz they got all their artist they can control. Rock & roll metal guys 80s style these are tough guys they didn't allow themselves to be pushed around

    This band was so underrated. Poison, whitesnake, motley crue took the spotlight but this group was just as good or better. I used to listen to them on my "walkman" and pretend i was Vito. Lol. Playing air guitar. He was a guitar god. Mike Tramp can sing pretty damn good too. Hes now playing and singing still. Think he's in Denmark or some country over there. He married a woman over there. Still putting out hits.

    My old band Deathslayer opened for White Lion back in the early 80's in a small club in NJ called the Union Jack . They had Dave The Beast Spitz on bass then, it was a lotta fun. What a great club that was. Also opened for Overkill & TT- Quick there. I freak'n miss the 80's so bad.

    1. Vito rocking the all black outfit was simple and cool
    2. The door blasting light on Vito before the guitar solo = epic
