Hi Park Junkie and friends. Sorry had a couple of busy weeks and saw this today. You guys have all made great life choices in my opinion. What you get to see and where you go is truly amazing and very nice!. Park Junkie your method of shooting this series is a long way from walking and climbing past your phone and going back to get it :-). To me it looks so good like your using 3 cameras and even a dedicated camera person. The editing is great and the scenery couldn't be more beautiful. Your sharing this trip with your bud's is great and thanks for doing it. Can't wait for part 3! You guys be safe out there. Sigue pasándola bien siempre!
Hey Simon! Well, I'm just glad I was misguided enough in my youth to ignore every single suggestion laid forth by my high school guidance counselor.... 😎 & Yeah, I'm trying to up the came a bit on the camera work... It's 2023 after all. 😳 Better get busy! Thanks for the words of encouragement... Cheers
I've been thru the areas pointed out on the map, but not on a motorcycle. Beautiful desert, great people, good food, scarce gas. Get it where you can. Buena suerte con aqua y tequila reposa.
Que gusto ver sus videos de este lugar espectacular! Hice este mismo viaje con mijo hace años. Y hablás un poco de español 🥰 Heading down to Baja with my father later this month. Sharing this video with him. Thanks for such great videos.
Well, I just can't imagine not doing this. They say that on your deathbed, you'll hold far more regret for the things you didn't do than for the things you did do... So I'm just going for it. Glad you're along for the journey!
Fantastic PJ! I just love El Valle de los Cirios on the Catavina area! Very Dr. Suessian...Just drove back thru there up Hwy 1 this time. My 3 months in Baja was amazing.
That's awesome! Dr Suesian for sure, that's exactly what we said! We probably rolled right by one another at some point. Did you go to Tecolote for the Van thing?
Wowie! It's Stella and Larry from San Ignacio yurtland dinner. I swear your video just appeared on my front screen without my doing a thing. How did that happen? Too bad you missed checking out Alfonsinas across the road from the store in Gonzaga Bay. What a place, a view, a dream of perfect Bay and Lagoon. Just fabulous watching - we covered that ground not two weeks ago. Can't wait to see more. The photography in catavina was spectacular.
Hey Stella & Larry! You all still in Baja? We visited that place, but not on this stretch. We actually stayed over there on our return. That restaurant is legit! The lodging, mas o menos, but the food was outta sight! Buen Viaje!
That thing is cool, but it broke later in the trip. I"m pretty sure that the insta360 mount, which was advertised as a motorcycle mounting kit, was not really designed for Park Junkie... 🤔
I’m so enjoying the Baja videos Todd, and what kind of camera wizardry is that? It’s brilliant!! I feel as if I’m right there with you guys. Pass the water bottle please! 😂. Looking forward to the next adventure! Please stay safe.. 🙏🏼❤️
Nice video park junkie. Love that you infuse a little Spanish into your narrative. Maybe I can learn a few words. Were those hummingbirds at the end of the video when Johnny was slinging rocks in slo-mo?
Wow! Thanks for sharing Baja with us! Another spectacular video! ❤ Loved the photography especially the unique circular shots, all the desert scenery, pictographs and sky etc. Are you using a drone? Noticed your friend, the crow second time I watched this 😊
Thanks! No, I carry a drone, but am a horrible pilot, but am learning. Those pans and circular shots are obtained through a 360 camera. Crows are one of my many spirit animals. They are always following me around, watching over me... 🙏
🎵Southbound again...seems like the boy is bound to roam🎶...(Dire Straits reference). $20 for 5 gallons...hehe, that's a good price where I am. Very cool crested cacti growths at 10:55! (speaking of growths, that yellow stuff is called "dodder")Are you headed as far as San Ignacio? I think it's the time of year to see gray whales down there. Oh, if you run across Lapis Anejo tequila, give it a try. Happy trails!
That orange plant is most likely California Dodder (Cuscuta californica). It’s a holo-parasitic plant, which is why it isn’t green; it doesn’t photosynthesize itself.
Really enjoy the video. Looks like lots of fun. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to another video.
Awesome, a great time every day! I just love the adventure of not knowing where you'll eat or go to sleep that night.
Beautiful! Like the gray, hi-vis helmet. 🍻
Yeah, it's fading in all this sun though!
Thank you Tod!!!!!!! You are a nice guy and guide.
Gracias mi amigo!
Well done guys, thanks for sharing the stoke of Baja.

Really good videos Junkie! Looks like a great adventure that most people dream about. Be safe out there.
Thanks! A true adventure down there!
Wow, what a road trip, and on the bikes. I love it.
Too. much fun! Glad you're enjoying the ride!
Awesome! Love that landscape. Hot spring in Puerto Cito. Roads look much improved since my 2005 journey. Another great video.
Yeah, so the pavement ended in Puertocitos back then, they just paved it on down to Hwy 1 last year or so. Thanks GeoGypsy!

I know! These new cameras are magic... I'm playing with a 360 camera, recording in 360 degrees. Fun, but a trip to edit! Thanks for your kind words!
This was AWSOME. Great photography ! Did you get a little saddle soar ? 👍👍😊
Thanks Sue! Nah, this old body is used to the beatings at this point.

Yeah Yawn, can't help it... Momma always told me to go see what was around that next corner... So hey, is that "dodder" an air plant?
@@theparkjunkie Not an air plant but a parasite that sends tendrils into the host plant and sucks nutrients from it.
