So what is your recommended rescue disk? I'm using avira rescue system but after I rescaned with avira free in windows, it detected some more. I think it's better than kaspersky because of shorter scan time and the results are pretty much similar
Kaspersky has better detection rate also you need to set that it disinfect the malware first if it can. Other ones set move to quarantine. the second option should be Dr.Web live CD. It is really important that you have a good detection ability with live CDs.

but you dont want to delete any critical system files that are infected and they can be cured. You have to take time to get things like removing viruses right. Client needs to understand this.

I like Kaspersky they stay on top of the MAJOR threats.................I.E common computer sense with Kaspersky is a good combination.
It will remove more PUP and adware if you select "Other" in "Other programs" menu :)

+MAXCyberDefense dude you should have disinfect it could have killed the systems real windows files and windows wont boot properly
How to get kapersky rescue disk:
have a disk
download the rescue disk
burn it!
