Been watching your videos and obsessing over fishing the last couple of years now. I live 10min from Devils hole, Lewiston, and Youngstown. The river is a new ball game and Id love for you to teach me the correct way / setup for salmon fishing devils hole, both on a spincast setup and also a center-pin reel. Im spent countless hours just trying to find what size/type of line, the correct way to shore fish it with the correct size weights. Would love to meet up with you guys the next time in your in the area.
First video for you Bill that you didn’t end it on a high note. Bet that place gets some big smallmouth with the low fishing pressure. You got into a couple nice sized ones but also missed a bunch of fish. It’s all good though, it’s nice to go back to places where you haven’t fished for a long time. Time to get the salmon and steelhead gear ready, salmon are just around the corner and the big creek on Lake Erie should start to get a few steelhead trickling in in a couple weeks.
Nice video bill, been apsilutely slaying the giant large mouth tons of 4-8 lb fish this year but I can’t get an giant smallie this year got a couple 3 lbers a lot of nice ones but no giants, must be cursed. I’m still heart broken from the other day I lost a large mouth that genuinely looked like the pa state record looked over 10 lost it near the boat.
I fish the res all the time! The high water levels suck for fishing, but you never know when they’ll lower the water! Lots of smallmouth and some sheepshead. Neg rig kills it when it’s not so hot. Spinner baits also great here. Love the leach idea with the weights! Great vid as always! Was this from the weekend?
Glad it worked out for ya! You are most definitely not allowed kayaks the sign before you enter there says no craft at all lol. They either didn't listen or have special permission I would love to kayak fish that thing it would be awesome. Thanks for linking my stuff! Appreciate it.

Great video! I have never fished that spot but some guys I know used to do well in keeper perch in the fall. Might be worth a shot.

I'm still learning the Niagara myself - dont fish it too much any more - hike back up is kind of rough on me lol
