Lindberg HMS Revenge Kit

I want to give a big Thank You to Martin over at International British Modeler for all the help and support he has given me with my new channel! Thanks a bunch mate, I really appreciate it! Thanks to all my subscribers for adding me and thanks to all of you for watching. This was given to me by my daughter, its a flea market find, she paid a couple bucks for it, love them flea market finds! Its the small Lindberg model of the Captain Grenville HMS Revenge model. Not sure on the scale of this ship, doesn't say anywhere on the box or instructions. I would say its from about 1/225 to 1/170 probably, somewhere in that range. Take Care and God Bless! A quick update on this ship, it is a 1/110 scale, it really doesn't look that scale, but that's what they say!

I have this kit with the Pyro label on it and the detail on the hull is absolutely amazing. I am not sure of the scale but the model looks very similar, but not the same, to the much larger Airfix kit. Cannons and sails are a little on the weak side though. I am imagining the painting on the hull will take some serious eye and hand coordination.

Looks like a great project, Bill. I have yet to build a sailing ship. My pop built some back in the day and watching him do the rigging was a harrowing experience!

I have yet to build a ship to where the rigging didn't want to make me get up and do a jig, lol! Like right now, I am doing the rigging on the jolly roger I am building and so far it has been a nightmare!!
