Thank you for posting. This helped with my "withdrawal" symptoms having completed this hike (via the Asquam Ridge Trail) with my daughter last week, and missing the experience very much.

That is nice. We are lucky when we have these strong feelings for it (as opposed to being bored or less interested). That mountain is the favorite of many. Sounds like you are ready to plan the next hike!

My least favorite but funny enough favorite thing about hiking, the seemingly endless steps that always seem to lead to what you think is a flat trail but it’s just more steps!! Great video, I love your energy, I know you’d be a blast to be on the trail with!

What a gorgeous day! And it seems like there wasn't much wind at the top. A plus to enjoy the peak longer but a con that there's nothing to blow the flies away. Great video! 👍

You know it’s an old trail when there’s such a nice staircase. Nice job.

Yes, I always appreciate the staircases, even though it's challenging.

Good job because I think that is the steep trail, right? There is one over on that side with a lean-to which I would love to visit but I'm not sure if I'll ever make it there. That's a big mountain with different trail opportunities.

@@RachelWhelton if i remember correctly that was very steep trail but well worth the effort..not sure about lean-to...now in my mid 80s just hobble around but got good memories etc...safe travels to ya

good ole rocks and roots NE. Perfect day, didn't seem crowded at all. pretty sweet. The bugs... a non-greasy, user friendly alternative to DEET (and just as effective) is picaridin. comes in various topicals: Spray; cream; towelettes; in various brands: Sawyer; Ranger Ready; Naturpel; et al Thanks for this enjoyable video and my virtual trek-along

Oh yes, those roots! My hiking poles saved me from falling forward two times: once when my foot got caught in a big root and again when my boot slipped on a smooth root!

Awesome! Thank you! I've heard some people call this one easy and other people say it's difficult. So maybe it just depends on the day.

Yes it was! There is a big lodge and it was busy so no parking there but I parked on the street and that was fine. And free.
