She's So Cold - Rolling Stones - Bass Cover

The great Bill Wyman. Severely underrated. I've been obsessed with this song since I heard it back in 1980. Finally got around to learning the bass part. A little rock, a little 80's New Wave, a little Country. Best listened on headphones as I am on the left speaker.
Playing this on my cheapo Ibanez GIO with Dunlop flatwounds. Would have been neat to have a Travis Bean like he did. If I ever get one I will redo this. I also played on top of the frets which seemed to give me a bit more of his sound.
I can't picture anyone else doing anything similar to what he plays here. Especially the slippery part later on in the tune. He brought a distinct flavor to the band that they unfortunately lost when he left. Viva Wyman!!

Excellent choices! His work on Steel Wheels is really high level. (Actually according to album credits, Ron Wood plays on "Sad Sad Sad". I do like his bass on there though..)
