Thank you very much for the video. Very clear and concise information. I believe all Rogue's over 200k kms (125k miles) have to be checked for this issue. I wanted to paste Nissan part numbers here for convenience: - Oil cooler gasket = 21304-JA006 - Oil cooler o-sing seal = 21304-JA06A Of course the Fel-Pro or Dorman sets you've provided in the links would be much more affordable solutions.
On our car I just bought. The ac pulley locked up and the owner kept driving it and it was very hard to turn over. Ended up burning up the starter. So I got all that repaired today and fired it up. It immediately started leaking. Your video helped us find the leak and now we will be ordering that part to finish up the car. Thanks again for the help!
did this job last week ...your going to reach in there pretty far jacked up (not on a lift) so its gonna be pretty unconformable for atleast 30 mins ... the cooler had also sucked up some hard orange plastic bag type stuff (no screens i seen anywhere) so it was clogging the oil return as well (horrible design) ... if not done it would have blown the motor!!! not a hard job but you'll need gloves and long sleeves or your going to get cut up on the rotor and strut .... my 2 cents
@@kschneider8649 2 yrs later its still going strong ..just did a control arm and tie rod end 2 weeks ago on it ..... yes its like a large model kit for me but i cant paint the cars as well as i fix them..

I'm afraid this is going to be expensive. 😭

Hi, how can i contact you about the sponsorship?
Should I rub oil over the new gaskets prior to installation?
You dont have to. You can put a little oil on the rubber O-ring gasket. But I would keep the "paper" gasket and the mating surfaces dry.
Is that the transmission oil cooler?
No, it's engine

I wish I had a man like you in my life. I'm afraid to attempt this on my own.

Always tighten bolts to love your car strength.. Never ever tighten to super gorilla strength or hate your ex girlfriend strength...
