Absolutely love the way Gerudo are depicted in this game, definitely the highlight of my adventure was arriving at the desert Also, Gerudo Town, Kara Kara Bazaar and the music in Vah Naboris are easily among my 5 favourite tracks in the game
Yeah, same here with Vah Naboris! In my second file (the first one was watching my bf play) I started with the desert/Naboris because I wanted to have Urbosa's Fury for the bulk of the journey. It was so cool to do it that way! Wiping out blue Hinox and small fry bokoblin camps made it so much safer. ^^
@@rebeccatripp36 That's awesome! Choosing which parts of the map to tackle first reminds me so much of playing alttp's Dark World for the first time (also Hinoxes as you mention :P)
One of the things I'm most interested in when the Breath of the Wild sequel (eventually) comes out is the reaction of the Gerudo when/if Ganondorf returns. Ganondorf used to be the King of the Gerudo, but the Gerudo in BotW only remember him as a devil. I'm extremely interested in how they'll tackle this. Anyway, lovely music as always.
@@labrynianrebel It was stated that the Gerudo genes were mixed with the Hylians, since Gerudos are half-Gerudo half-Hylian. They go out of the town to meet Vois, so their tribe can go on
This is awesome. Going for the mystical atmosphere is a good thing I think, something about this Gerudo culture in botw is a bit similar to Disney's Aladdin so adding some magic to this piece seems right to me!
You know, you're the reason why Zelda is so magical: it your remixes. I'm not trying to be exaggerating, because it's true. I love the Arabic theme that you implemented in here, it really fits the Gerudo tribe when you think about it. Absolutely amazing 😭👏👏
Lovely rendition, Rebecca! It gets very dreamy every now and then. From here on, it's going to be tricky to put my thoughts into words, but here we go: I felt like the first section, while more agitated, was almost inviting me to some sort of relaxation. Almost like a secondary dominant chord (I'll probably regret using harmony as an allegory lol): it's inviting me towards a resolution that's not very resolved or stable in and of itself. It felt like you were teasing this dominant chord, but instead of getting there, you slammed into the brakes and went straight for the tonic! And it felt great. Unexpected, but great. :) Anyways, thank you for making this. You know how much I enjoy your work. ❤❤❤

I'm still pissed that i didn't go to the Desert first and instead went to the Zora's domain when i wanted to go to the Desert.....

I just want to know why the Gerudo have pointy ears now.

Absolutely beautiful arrangement, as always! How do you come up with so many of these?!
Thank you! Good question, haha. I'm not sure. ^^
What's this song? DaGerudo Sandstorm
I deserved this...
@@rebeccatripp36 I actually 99% expected this to be a Gerudo Town and Sandstorm mashup.
@@ieyke I had similar hopes haha
