Beef Mixture:
2 T canola oil
1 onion
4 garlic cloves
2 lbs. ground beef
2 t salt or garlic salt: LAWRY’S GARLIC SALT: amzn.to/3Nbuyws
2 t ground cumin
1 t paprika
1 t chili powder
1 t ground black pepper
1/2 t ground cayenne pepper
1 T tomato paste
2 T all-purpose-flour
1/2 cup of filtered water
Cheese Sauce (Queso):
12 oz. can evaporated milk
1/2 cup whole milk
2 T all-purpose flour
3 T water
1/2 t salt
1/2 t chili powder
1/2 t ground black pepper
8 oz. grated sharp cheddar cheese
3 t green chilies
Sour Cream Mixture:
5 T sour cream
4 dashes hot sauce
1/4 t chili powder
Other ingredients needed:
6 large flour tortillas
6 to 12 tostada shells
lettuce
tomatoes
chipotle sauce
