    Hey Nick, just wanted to drop a quick comment to say how much I love your Bricks Builder add-on. It's seriously amazing! The multi-level dropdowns and the ability to add a logo to the mobile menu are game-changers. You've put so much thought into this, and it shows. Thanks for creating such a valuable tool! Keep up the great work! 💪👍

    Awsome just purchased today one question is there an easy way to make the last two items both buttons?

    • @nickarceco
      @nickarceco  Год назад

      you can but it will require some custom work. It would require you to change many of the if statements and create another mixin to facilitate the second to last item styling. If you need help implementing this I am available for hire just hit me up on the contact form on my website nickarce.com/contact

    also how can you push the dropdown menus down on desktop. Right now its overlaid partially on top of my header I would like it to open at the bottom of my header

    • @hamburger--fries
      @hamburger--fries Год назад

      I found for headers you can only have containers and div's or everything goes wonky. Also you need to set the padding. Not sure if that helps.

    • @nickarceco
      @nickarceco  Год назад

      Look for $fade-up-open in the SCSS sheet and update that. The higher the number, the lower the dropdown menu will sit

    Is it possible to create a menu using query loops? The multi-level menu with query loops in particular

    • @nickarceco
      @nickarceco  10 месяцев назад

      I believe it is. I had attempted it and got about half way through it. You have to use custom query parameters using the bricks query code thingy majig

    Is there anyway to only display mega menu on desktop?

    • @nickarceco

      do you mean so there is never a toggle switch to open the menu on mobile?

    • @fortymileswest

      @@nickarceco no, I mean, when on mobile I want the menu not to be mega. Rather a normal menu toggle.

    • @nickarceco
      @nickarceco  8 месяцев назад

      @@fortymileswest the template is built from the ground up to operate the way shown so changing it to not use any of the mega menu functionality on mobile is possible it’s just not going to be quick change I can document in a comment. Its some custom work

  • @chelofonte

    Hey Nicholas, what is the process for updating the mega-menu? Do we have to install everything from scratch?

    • @nickarceco
      @nickarceco  Год назад

      Because its a template there is no straight forward method. You either need to start fresh OR you could compare the version you have with the updated version and move over the necessary information. for instance paste the new JSON below the current header you have then compare/move over then use VS code to compare the SCSS versions.

    Hey do I need WPcodebox to run scss? Is there another way?

    • @nickarceco
      @nickarceco  10 месяцев назад

      There is a free one. wordpress.org/plugins/instant-css/#description but i have heard it sometimes has little issues. I havent personally used it.
      I've also got documentation here: docs.nickarce.com/docs/mega-menu-template

    Hi Nick, with this update is it possible to set a primary and secondary button in the header? :)

    • @nickarceco
      @nickarceco  Год назад +1

      It is possible but will require some custom work to get that working. I can put this on my idea board for possible updates. I just have to be careful not to make this so jam packed that it’s too confusing if you know what I mean.

    Can i just upgrade an existing 1.4 mega menu with 1.5 without breaking it?

    • @nickarceco
      @nickarceco  Год назад +1

      If you paste SCSS V1.5 with a header template that is V1.2.1 it will add multi-dropdown support (not mobile logo) but all of your customized styling would be gone. Here is what I would do.
      1. Save your current SCSS as a file on your computer
      2. Duplicate the new V1.5 SCSS
      3. With the duplicate use VS Codes compare feature vscode.one/diff-vscode/ and move over all your customized styling into the duplicate of 1.5 SCSS.

    I would like to say thank you for this amazing menu template. By the way, it would be great to use this menu template as overlay menu. If it is possible, it would be great if you make a tutorial video to make this menu as overlay menu.

    • @nickarceco
      @nickarceco  5 месяцев назад +1

      You can make an overlay header by going opening your header template in the bricks editor, clicking on the gear icon, click template settings, then header, then look for sticky header settings
