This kid needs to just stop. He’d have a lot more respect from people if he just admitted his actions.
First off. His look and personality is what everyone thinks is the copy. He does the David dobrik laugh, and if you’ve ever seen clips of him laughing when the camera are off it’s totally different and not so forced.
Second. He tells a story about how his grandpa made videos like this. Where he just captured every moment in people lives and and that’s how where he got the idea to film like that.
But when you watch his first videos on RUclips they are a complete 180 compared to his videos now.
He admits David is a huge influence on him so respect for that. David didn’t invent his style of blogging so it’s not fair to say he copied David’s blog style because people have been vloggin like that for years. But David’s form is adapted to fit as much as he can in 4:20 and it’s like vine. Where it’s quick clips that make you laugh and onto the next.
This kid is doing his best to do different things, but in the wrong way.
Man up. And admit where you copy David straight up. Because the more you say “I don’t copy David” the more people are gonna hate and never accept you or any original ideas you have cause they’ll always label you as a knockoff.

The guy from Blues Clues never died and/or got arrested for anything. Those were just false rumours. What really ended up happening was him quitting the show because he was losing his hair and he didn't want to be bald while working on a kids program so he left. He actually started playing music and released a couple albums that really weren't that bad. They are on youtube if you just look up "Steve Burns".

If you go back to his old RUclips videos he never had that laugh until a few years ago when David exploded.
at this point it doesn't even matter if he's copying David or not, people just want him to own up to it and admit that that is what he's doing. everything he does: his content, the way he talks, his laugh, his personality and the way he justifies his actions are all exactly how david does it. its truly uncanny how much he acts like David. obviously i dont know the dude so i dont know if that's how he has always been but when it comes to their content, David started on Vine probably in 2014 and moved to RUclips in 2015. and this guys started on Tiktok and RUclips in 2018. so obviously David has been creating content for longer and we have seen his content and overall personality in a consistent way, he doesn't really change. Meanwhile in some videos talking about this "controversy" there has been proof of him filming or being filmed and his personality is COMPLETELY different. and sometimes people change overtime, its not a big deal but there is so much to it that you don't need to consider "change". this is straight up just identity theft. maybe if he was more true to himself and showed his own originally to the internet, people would accept him more. and its never a good idea to steal someone's from format fo that they developed for YEARS and just claim it as your own.
and the part in this video where he talks about his "format" on making and editing videos is what really bothered me the most. because if you are fan of Davids and you listen to his podcast, there's an episode back in March where he talks about why he hasn't posted a vlog in a long time since quarantine. its because he's not able to do his regular vlogs and format for his videos due to the circumstances of the pandemic. the way he wants to create fast pace content with his friends so the audience can consume a lot of content in a very short amount of time. So when I heard this dude talk about that it made me question "does he listen to Davids podcast too?" because my goodness it is exactly the same.
and he also has the "hometown friends" that are "insane" and that he grew up with?! that was probably the one that set me off the edge. because i again if you are a fan of Davids then you know he LOVEEESSSS his hometown friends, they've all been in his vlogs multiple times, especially in his 420th one. and David's speaks very openly about them in his podcast and just everywhere in general.
