Yes sis, I remember when I just got married, my husband brought out his singlet that I should wash for him, I wanted to, but on a second thought, I asked myself, will you continue to do this after 10 years, I told myself no because my responsibilities in this house would have increased. I quickly suggested we called someone to help in washing, like magic he never ask me to do that again since then. Now, I thank God for that, we are more than 10 years now, with 3 children, me with work, business and no house maid.... I really thank God for that decision!!! 😀😀😀

A boss lady only succeeds if she ensures she doesn't get passed around by various men sharing all their beds. For example, Tiwa savage, can be classed a boss lady but since getting a divorce she's being passed around by almost 3 men as we saw one of them in a past leaked s^x tape with her. What kind of boss lady is that? So its too early to call May Edochie a boss lady.

When a man sleeps around, you don't term him as being passed around. But the moment a woman dates 3 men at several stages of her life, you judge her as being passed around.

A big lesson for all. It’s a terrible thing to love without loving back 💔 . I so much appreciate our new generation. They understand what love really is than us in our 60's. "U 1st not man," May made or took the right decision, and i loved her 4 that . Neze, u are talented, and I ❤️ you

These stories are very relatable. It's good to note, though, that it is not always all white and black, so many grey areas. I am that woman who knew I couldn't sacrifice my career, my family depended on me even as a single girl. I am still that woman who let go of her thriving banking career because it became too unbearable, coping with pregnancy, a toddler, and an unsupportive working environment..... but ofcourse, it was to go into civil service. Not to come sit at home. I am that woman that stayed through so much abuse in marriage cos I knew that it'll be financially straining for me and the kids alone and their father wouldn't lift a finger once I walked out. Yet, I am that woman that walked out and, today, at 38, civil servant and a single mother of 3. Through it all, alhamdulillah. Nobody goes into marriage with divorce as a goal but God has different paths for us all. As cliche as it sounds, I stayed for the kids and when I left, I left for the kids. I didn't care too much for my own feelings at the time cos for years, I already lived like a single married woman so I knew that there won't be any negative difference in leaving for me. For the kids that didn't asked to be brought into the situation, I thought I owed them some childhood memories with a father figure in it. I quickly realised though that there was no way to win in my situation. Because a father figure is good but what kind of father figure? The wrong kind of father figure or idea of a father figure can be very detrimental to directing the kids path in life too so, I took that decision. Its been a tough 3months so far but hey! We are still here. Definitely taking time for a much needed healing journey and the kids are happy and thriving so I know I'm well on my way to joining them there😊. Thing is, once you find yourself in a situationship of a marriage and there are kids, and you're in nigeria😂 it's a lose-lose situation. You just have to choose your loss.

You have done well.. Congratulations. It is well. It will get better. I did exactly like you. Made a decision to wait for my youngest to turn 18! I waited for 10 years while living a single married life.. I was the main bread winner. When my youngest son joined Uni.. I left!!.. It is 8 years now and no regrets!.. I wanted my kids to have the best childhood memories and I made sure peace reigned during the waiting period for them.. With that decision I had to take a lot of sh^t but I was not bothered at all... And when I left my kids wondered why.. because to them it was all bliss.. And that is when I knew my goal was achieved!!.. So, as Neze said, we all can make choices depending on our circumstances. Take in only what you can.. And while at it, dont cry wolf!.. Just take your medicine like a pro!..😀 If you see yourself hurting, crying and complaining, then just know you have to leave.

I live in the United States of America, Nezeville. I love Queen May and her children , I became interested in Queen May Aligwe's life when I 1st heard about what Yul Edochie did to her life and ever since than I begin following Queen May and her children, I cried when she lost her son Kambili, honestly I feel that May Aligwe is the strongest woman I have seen and heard of, May Aligwe is a woman that people needs to study, she's one of a kind, I am happy that May had the courage to leave that abusive marriage, May Aligwe wasn't abused just by Yul the husband but by the entire Edochie family, I love what she's doing to improve her children life. May is every woman's child, sister, and daughter, May Aligwe is a lesson to study and learn. I love this young lady because I can relate with her case. I pray every day for May Aligwe and her children, May's beginning was a blessing to her life, we thank God that May is doing well, I more happy that May has no reason to ask the Edochies family for anything

Don’t be predictable and surprise yourself with achievements that you can look back and smile at yourself. Taking care of children is good and overwhelming but have self fulfilling prophecy. This our husbands admire women in big positions and use two hands to greet them but minimize and disregard the primary caregivers of their own children. Growth is attractive

May's case is quiet unique and different. These other women fully understood what they were getting into and their men so far have not publicly dishonored their marital vows. They are all trying to manage their men past weaknesses which they were very much aware before walking down the aisle.
I have never seen any man have a mistress, get her pregnant, and come out in the public to declare they are marrying their mistress without prior discussion with their legally married wife. That's the highest level of disrespect and disloyalty a man can give to his 18 years of marriage with 4 grown children.

I think the upbringing and family background a woman has plays a pivotal role in her decision making as an adult. Women who had a father that loved them dearly, siblings especially brothers that showered them with love hardly find themselves in a messy relationship with a man because they have a reference point. A lady that grew up in an environment where her father loves her mom and proves it will hardly settle for less. The devil understands that family plays a very crucial role in how adults are made so he does everything to attack it.
If you are unfortunate or fortunate not to have grown up in such homes, there is hope. Build yourself with books, learn from others, get yourself involved in meaningful social networks. Let your relationship with God be topnotch because he demonstrates what true love should be for any lady out there. Once you see God, love him and understand how he works, you wouldn't want less for yourself also. A healthy self esteem and good personality can be built irrespective of your background. It only takes more work compared to those who came from backgrounds where the tone was already set.
Love yourself! It is not selfishness when it is healthy and you are not in human. ❤❤❤

Neze you hit the nail on the head with this very content of May Edochie and the simple title of Choice. I know this comment came 3 weeks late. I have followed you and have listened on everything about May and I came to admire her so much because of you. May is exactly like me but more beautiful not a noise maker, but portrays her beautiful independence in kind. Neze when I listened to one of your contents about how you made the decision to marry your husband, I was like oh my gosh this lady is like me very practical. When I shared how I made my decision to marry my husband, you are the only one so far that have used the same formula, for that alone I am endeared to your content: you are very practical and intelligent. This very content is a matter of choice for reasonable and independent women who do not see themselves through their husband’s lens. I came from a rich home what is considered now old money, but I married poor and wanted to grow rich with my husband and we are comfortable, not noisy. The women who are fortunate enough to marry up and have all these designers just remember they are just stuff do not be trapped into hell and turn a blind eye to your mental state because of stuff. Thank you Neze for this beautiful content the tale of 3 women and their choices loved it

I salute you for the seriousness and the depth of your research and analysis of important social issues.
Thanks immensely because just one video by you has the capacity to save lives and teaches much more than several women’s rights workshops can. You’re a gift to our world!

Neze you never see professional men are CHEATERS and DECEITFULY and they can pretend for AFRICAN ooh as a hole. Those guys are good at what they do and it runs in their blood and they hide their attitude like never before. On till they are good to strake. My sister those characters both genders have it when it comes to that. If your partner has another Motive
WOMEN'S WAY OF HIDING THEIR CHARACTERS: 1) CHILD ISSUES LIKE SHE NEVER HAVE HER OWN CHILD, SHE MARRIED HIM FOR REVENGE OR SHE BEAR A CHILD FOR HIM OR A MALE CHILD AND THE OTHER DID HAVE ) SOME BECAUSE MONEY
WHY THE MAIN REASONS OF MEN HIDING THEIR CHARACTERS: ARE FAME, AND IF THE LADY HAS MONEY AND POWER

I rarely subscribe to RUclips channels but I did not think twice to subscribe to yours with few videos. Your ideology on this issue is same as mine. Financial independence is very important for any woman. Develop yourself as a woman, be valuable, it reduces abuse. The first principle is identifying urself and knowing what you want. Indeed we all have choices, I cannot also marry a man who does not want me to have my source of income no matter how rich he is; I will also discourage my daughters to be 100% dependent on their spouses. May also took that decision to ignore the man and face her children until the death of her first son. I love her decision, she moved on with her kids. I only discourage women that leave their kids.....

The truth is if you have ever had the unfortunate luck of meeting a narcissistic man you will know that men can really hide their true intentions, it's not a one size fits all situation when it comes to these things. But I totally agree that a woman must try her best to have her own work and genuine source of income.
