I lost my own career in the name of marriage. Though things were okay the first 12 or so years Stay at home mum with a small business, it worked for a while but eventually as he rose up the corporate world, he married younger woman 😢 But you pick yourself up and move on
Yes sis, I remember when I just got married, my husband brought out his singlet that I should wash for him, I wanted to, but on a second thought, I asked myself, will you continue to do this after 10 years, I told myself no because my responsibilities in this house would have increased. I quickly suggested we called someone to help in washing, like magic he never ask me to do that again since then. Now, I thank God for that, we are more than 10 years now, with 3 children, me with work, business and no house maid.... I really thank God for that decision!!! 😀😀😀

These stories are very relatable. It's good to note, though, that it is not always all white and black, so many grey areas. I am that woman who knew I couldn't sacrifice my career, my family depended on me even as a single girl. I am still that woman who let go of her thriving banking career because it became too unbearable, coping with pregnancy, a toddler, and an unsupportive working environment..... but ofcourse, it was to go into civil service. Not to come sit at home. I am that woman that stayed through so much abuse in marriage cos I knew that it'll be financially straining for me and the kids alone and their father wouldn't lift a finger once I walked out. Yet, I am that woman that walked out and, today, at 38, civil servant and a single mother of 3. Through it all, alhamdulillah. Nobody goes into marriage with divorce as a goal but God has different paths for us all. As cliche as it sounds, I stayed for the kids and when I left, I left for the kids. I didn't care too much for my own feelings at the time cos for years, I already lived like a single married woman so I knew that there won't be any negative difference in leaving for me. For the kids that didn't asked to be brought into the situation, I thought I owed them some childhood memories with a father figure in it. I quickly realised though that there was no way to win in my situation. Because a father figure is good but what kind of father figure? The wrong kind of father figure or idea of a father figure can be very detrimental to directing the kids path in life too so, I took that decision. Its been a tough 3months so far but hey! We are still here. Definitely taking time for a much needed healing journey and the kids are happy and thriving so I know I'm well on my way to joining them there😊. Thing is, once you find yourself in a situationship of a marriage and there are kids, and you're in nigeria😂 it's a lose-lose situation. You just have to choose your loss.
You have done well.. Congratulations. It is well. It will get better. I did exactly like you. Made a decision to wait for my youngest to turn 18! I waited for 10 years while living a single married life.. I was the main bread winner. When my youngest son joined Uni.. I left!!.. It is 8 years now and no regrets!.. I wanted my kids to have the best childhood memories and I made sure peace reigned during the waiting period for them.. With that decision I had to take a lot of sh^t but I was not bothered at all... And when I left my kids wondered why.. because to them it was all bliss.. And that is when I knew my goal was achieved!!.. So, as Neze said, we all can make choices depending on our circumstances. Take in only what you can.. And while at it, dont cry wolf!.. Just take your medicine like a pro!..😀 If you see yourself hurting, crying and complaining, then just know you have to leave.

All the 3 men are popular figures artists actors and Musicians… I thought you were going to point that out Chineze( all along I didn’t realize Neze was Chineze😊) The popularity of the men tries to drown the women… but I speak of the oldest for now….May refused to be drowned. I salute you Neze …I salute Queen May too.
As a woman please try to always build yourself in your own little way. It’s very attractive. Don’t be predictable and surprise yourself with achievements that you can look back and smile at yourself. Taking care of children is good and overwhelming but have self fulfilling prophecy. This our husbands admire women in big positions and use two hands to greet them but minimize and disregard the primary caregivers of their own children. Growth is attractive
May's case is quiet unique and different. These other women fully understood what they were getting into and their men so far have not publicly dishonored their marital vows. They are all trying to manage their men past weaknesses which they were very much aware before walking down the aisle. I have never seen any man have a mistress, get her pregnant, and come out in the public to declare they are marrying their mistress without prior discussion with their legally married wife. That's the highest level of disrespect and disloyalty a man can give to his 18 years of marriage with 4 grown children.
I think the upbringing and family background a woman has plays a pivotal role in her decision making as an adult. Women who had a father that loved them dearly, siblings especially brothers that showered them with love hardly find themselves in a messy relationship with a man because they have a reference point. A lady that grew up in an environment where her father loves her mom and proves it will hardly settle for less. The devil understands that family plays a very crucial role in how adults are made so he does everything to attack it. If you are unfortunate or fortunate not to have grown up in such homes, there is hope. Build yourself with books, learn from others, get yourself involved in meaningful social networks. Let your relationship with God be topnotch because he demonstrates what true love should be for any lady out there. Once you see God, love him and understand how he works, you wouldn't want less for yourself also. A healthy self esteem and good personality can be built irrespective of your background. It only takes more work compared to those who came from backgrounds where the tone was already set. Love yourself! It is not selfishness when it is healthy and you are not in human. ❤❤❤
A person that the parents smoke either end up smoking or hate smoking. No ,it doesn't determine anything. We are soul, and thus are independent of choices and have the agency to decide
Neze you are something else. I was coming to hear wahala gist about these women, instead it became a "sit down and listen" case study extraordinaire. This video was well thought out, sensitive, non-judgemental, educative and relatable to everyone woman. Thank you for your poised and wisdom. You are a smart woman like Kamala Harris.
Oh Neze, God bless you! My hubby was that type who would drop things everywhere. Right from the beginning, I said no ways, honey, we can start like this ooo. Today, I smile when I see how he is so particular about his environment. It is truly marvelous to see, and I'm happy I refused to pick up after him.
I'm with you Neze, my peace of mind is golden, but paramount in all this is your relationship with God. God is the only one who can give you joy hope and strength to face another day.
I cannot put up with such man, I was once married to that kind of man ,that can bring his mistress to the house without feeling any remorse, I really go through a lot, coming to my street to pay a house for his girlfriend because I told him not to try it next time by bring his mistress to my house, I don't wish my enemies such a men, your mental health, your blood pressure, I am alive today is a big testimony, my advice to every women out there please get something doing, be an independent woman very important.
The worst and weakest men are those that bring their mistresses into their matrimonial home. Real men marry their mistresses, and get another home for them while still keeping and maintaining their first wife.
@@mysteriouslytrue Hope real women can do same by marring their alternative male partners and giving them another home too .This your description of what a real man does is really funny oo😀
A man once told me women need beating to reset their brain, i just walked out of the relationship quitely, till tomorrow he is stil shocked by how i left and doesn't know why
I have been married for 22years out of which I have been the sole breadwinner for 17years....the main issue is the man does not appreciate my efforts to cover his inadequacy....he rather accuses me of not respecting him though I try my best to do so. I have been managing this situation but frankly getting tired of the situation.....divorce is never easy but sometimes one's happiness is important.....any woman who is not appreciated in the marriage despite her sacrifices to keep her home should leave the marriage to safeguard her joy n happiness....my children all support me to walk out of the marriage....I am just bidding my time until the right time to walk out....
A woman goes into marriage with the “we” ideology as she has been groomed to do… A man on the other hand goes into marriage and still maintains his “I” mentality that the woman is left to question her choices when she finally realizes there was no “we” afterall. It is well 🙏🏾
Neze you hit the nail on the head with this very content of May Edochie and the simple title of Choice. I know this comment came 3 weeks late. I have followed you and have listened on everything about May and I came to admire her so much because of you. May is exactly like me but more beautiful not a noise maker, but portrays her beautiful independence in kind. Neze when I listened to one of your contents about how you made the decision to marry your husband, I was like oh my gosh this lady is like me very practical. When I shared how I made my decision to marry my husband, you are the only one so far that have used the same formula, for that alone I am endeared to your content: you are very practical and intelligent. This very content is a matter of choice for reasonable and independent women who do not see themselves through their husband’s lens. I came from a rich home what is considered now old money, but I married poor and wanted to grow rich with my husband and we are comfortable, not noisy. The women who are fortunate enough to marry up and have all these designers just remember they are just stuff do not be trapped into hell and turn a blind eye to your mental state because of stuff. Thank you Neze for this beautiful content the tale of 3 women and their choices loved it
You are absolutely right, Neze. The approach of the man really matters a lot. MAY was publicly humiliated and disgraced by the so-called husband. She has no choice but to leave. I love her decision so much.
The story you shared is for me. I’ve been threatening to leave my job because of my Velcro baby and working from home. Job that adapts to my conditions o and i can work at anytime but because it’s tough with a baby i keep telling my husband I want to quit. My take home is not every uncomfortable situation I throw in the towel (this has been me for a while ) this video is the wake up call I needed. Every point needs to be incorporated into my life Thanks for sharing and btw you look amazing

Nezeville , you are such an Amazing woman filled with wisdom. God will continue to uphold May Edochie with happiness and fulfillment. I have never commented on anything about her , but I was pushed by the way you had a critical analysis about her situation. We keep learning each day. Jisike Nwannem.
I’m from the USA 🇺🇸 and my mother has always taught us to work and have your own because when that man walks out that door you don’t want to be left with nothing she stated it’s okay to have a joint checking account but always have your own savings account with your money in there in case he walks!!

Fantastic. An awesome piece. Our dear Neze, you’re not just a good lawyer and a captivating storyteller; you’re also a proper women’s rights advocate and a really good marriage/relationship counsellor. You thoroughly understand the roots of domestic violence - emotional abusers and the mindset of a perpetrator. I salute you for the seriousness and the depth of your research and analysis of important social issues. Thanks immensely because just one video by you has the capacity to save lives and teaches much more than several women’s rights workshops can. You’re a gift to our world!
Human beings are social currency, don’t cut people off! That’s one thing I believe strongly in and keep sounding in my children’s ears. Build and maintain valuable relationships.
Neze please keep giving us this types of wholesome contents. I am seeing a different side of you that I’ve absolutely fallen in love with. More of lessons than seeming ‘gossip’ content. Gosh! you are so beautiful❤
Neze, you’re a wonderful and intelligent woman, I pray for more strength and wisdom for you. You have said it all, I must confess these are my admonitions to my children, as iam a victim of all that you enumerated, but I thank God . I didn’t quit but what I did was to travel out to meet one of my children abroad, start to earn a living. I now have peace, my relationship with God deepened. To God alone be all the glory
This woman ehhhhh, your sense of humor is top-notch. Many women suffer after a breakup or divorce if they are not financially stable. Build your life ladies, it is very important. Make genuine friendship and relationships. God bless you Neze ❤
My grand mother used to always say, know in every women there is a time when she has to face a cross, when that time comes you need to know what of U is being targeted. This will arm you for the kind of battle ahead and what you need to do to overcome and thrive.....
Absolutely, I think the three women's stories are different. May was a bread winner, Yul Edochie wants May to use her own money to fund his polygamy lifestyle which is crazy.
The enemy of a woman is another woman! Must we applaud concubine women like Judy? Mocking your fellow woman who is mourning on top of the scattering her home :(
@mercyeffiong6822 No May wasn't the bread winner read their story again but regardless she chose herself her sanity and her children. Her light shines brighter when she chose her peace
Chioma left Davido for 2 years when he got his baby momma in London while with her and that showed him that no every woman can take nonsense bcz he is a superstar and she was doing well had ambassador deals and even bought herself a house so now that they got back together he knew what she can do hence he is trying to be a best husband he can be
Neze you never see professional men are CHEATERS and DECEITFULY and they can pretend for AFRICAN ooh as a hole. Those guys are good at what they do and it runs in their blood and they hide their attitude like never before. On till they are good to strake. My sister those characters both genders have it when it comes to that. If your partner has another Motive WOMEN'S WAY OF HIDING THEIR CHARACTERS: 1) CHILD ISSUES LIKE SHE NEVER HAVE HER OWN CHILD, SHE MARRIED HIM FOR REVENGE OR SHE BEAR A CHILD FOR HIM OR A MALE CHILD AND THE OTHER DID HAVE ) SOME BECAUSE MONEY WHY THE MAIN REASONS OF MEN HIDING THEIR CHARACTERS: ARE FAME, AND IF THE LADY HAS MONEY AND POWER
@TheBestinMe143 Have you caught him?. You guys are praying for Davido to have another cheating scandal, so you can celebrate. No one is perfect, including you, Davido is trying to be a better person.
In most cases, men will not say it outright. They have waaays of saying it and they don’t start playing up until you are totally dependent on them. When they know you can’t just jump up and go back to work.
He won’t tell you outright even if that is what he believes. But just like Neze said, during courtship, you intentionally dig to know what your partner’s ideologies are. THAT IS ACTUALLY THE ESSENCE OF COURTSHIP.
The three women stories ate different. May was a bread winner to the marriage, Tuface and Davido has money. Tuface and Davido has never come to social media to humiliate their wives. Yul Edochie behavior shows he didn't love his wife May, but was there for May money.
I rarely subscribe to RUclips channels but I did not think twice to subscribe to yours with few videos. Your ideology on this issue is same as mine. Financial independence is very important for any woman. Develop yourself as a woman, be valuable, it reduces abuse. The first principle is identifying urself and knowing what you want. Indeed we all have choices, I cannot also marry a man who does not want me to have my source of income no matter how rich he is; I will also discourage my daughters to be 100% dependent on their spouses. May also took that decision to ignore the man and face her children until the death of her first son. I love her decision, she moved on with her kids. I only discourage women that leave their kids.....
I do not know how women tolerate cheating expecially when married. They have my utmost respect to forgive n move on. Was cheated by just an ex, not husband n i could not see him the same way. We have tried to come back 3 times, but i just cant move past the cheating. These are strong women
I truly appreciate the way you share your stories. It brings me joy to learn about what’s happening with May Edochie. I admire her resilience and the grace with which she navigates the challenges that have come her way🙏🏿❤️🇺🇸.
Well done Neze, you have done justice to this topic and I enjoyed every moment of this of this episode. You are spot on and constantly doing doing a great job
Wow! Always a joy yo watch 👀 your videos, cause there is so much to learn. A woman should be indeed independent, not dependent. Thank you God bless you. Love you loads ❤❤❤
First analysis - Two-face did not grow out of boy stage. He did not have the chance to explore other women, because they started committed relationship too early. He just developed eye opener late in life.
I've said this a million times before; you are such a phenomenal storyteller and there's so much wisdom in your podcast/ videos I literally have to watch it multiple times and even taking notes. God has you here for a purpose you are not only very comical when needed rested when needed but filled with so much wisdom and life experience. I truly truly truly thank you for providing such videos
The truth is if you have ever had the unfortunate luck of meeting a narcissistic man you will know that men can really hide their true intentions, it's not a one size fits all situation when it comes to these things. But I totally agree that a woman must try her best to have her own work and genuine source of income.

You said it all. If you are financially independent, you have your dignity in your home.
Every lady needs to watch this📌📌📌....thank you Neze. Love from Uganda 🇺🇬
May the only one get it. She chose herself and her kids! 😊
Period
❤❤❤pp❤
They are 3 amazing women ...... I love them ..... May God continue to bless and protect them 🙏

Barrister Neze you are feeding us goood these days ooo… back to back content! Loveeeee to see it!
Yeah
May's case is quiet unique and different. These other women fully understood what they were getting into and their men so far have not publicly dishonored their marital vows. They are all trying to manage their men past weaknesses which they were very much aware before walking down the aisle.
I have never seen any man have a mistress, get her pregnant, and come out in the public to declare they are marrying their mistress without prior discussion with their legally married wife. That's the highest level of disrespect and disloyalty a man can give to his 18 years of marriage with 4 grown children.
You nailed it Neze. Loads of married women needs to see this because menh it's a big lesson. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Ever since yesterday's video of may I dedicate my watsapp status to her for a full week walaii
I hope one day you start podcast and invite May.
You said the absolute truth, God will help those of us who didn't know or feel what love really is while growing up.
Watching this as a young lady hustling..I won't give up if I marry..I pray about this..Thank you neze❤❤🔥
Prayer are too Important 🇬🇧
Oh Neze, God bless you! My hubby was that type who would drop things everywhere. Right from the beginning, I said no ways, honey, we can start like this ooo. Today, I smile when I see how he is so particular about his environment. It is truly marvelous to see, and I'm happy I refused to pick up after him.
I'm with you Neze, my peace of mind is golden, but paramount in all this is your relationship with God. God is the only one who can give you joy hope and strength to face another day.
It’s obvious May is a praying woman!
It's the happily married now for Chioma hopefully by God's grace for me 😂 Neze 😅😅😅
@@otavieeinaman4396 Davido never brought another woman home like your husband, he respects his wife so much.
@@mysteriouslytrue Hope real women can do same by marring their alternative male partners and giving them another home too .This your description of what a real man does is really funny oo😀
@@mysteriouslytrueThere is nothing real about a man that marries his mistress.
@@omalicha7388She's being sarcastic about it. She knows that it doesn't make sense. 💕
I'm now addicted to this channel.
You have to🗣🗣

Love that she did it quietly and with grace. She is killing it, like a boss that she is. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Every point needs to be incorporated into my life
Thanks for sharing and btw you look amazing
Prayers to Annie,!... May she Overcome by getting out of that toxicity... Loh!.. You can feel the agony she carries in her voice... It's chilling... 🙏🏾
No one is different,Everyone has the right the make their own choices
May is a beautiful and blessed woman and a mother sometimes god remove people out of your life for you to get where he needs you to go look at the blessings that she gets for her and her kids god is good all the time bless to you dear may one love respect 🙏🏾❤️🇯🇲
Neze, you hit the nail on the head. Some of us were married to destiny killers. Thank God for God! When you know your enemy, the battle is already won
This three women's they are very strong people'❤❤❤
Wow wow wow,my PERSONAL LAWYER,you NAILED IT,like I keep saying money well spent on your education, thank🥰you mummy & daddy😊.
Neze you are deposited with wisdom, sense and reasoning. Many old women don't have what you have 🤞🏾....🇿🇦✊🏾
Neze, you’re a wonderful and intelligent woman, I pray for more strength and wisdom for you.
So sorry to hear about Annie AGAIN!! 😢. I pray she finds her peace in this life (and to think about the children quite sad..) 🙏🏾
I agreed with the SHAME case. What society will say has done more harm than good 👍🏼. Thanks Nne ❤
So deep this programme.
I have learnt a lot.
We need to be very carefull.
Much thanks.
Bar Neze u have said it all,
A word is enough for the wise.
We can't judge any women for we have not walk in their shoes
Absolutely, I think the three women's stories are different. May was a bread winner, Yul Edochie wants May to use her own money to fund his polygamy lifestyle which is crazy.
The enemy of a woman is another woman! Must we applaud concubine women like Judy? Mocking your fellow woman who is mourning on top of the scattering her home :(
@mercyeffiong6822 No May wasn't the bread winner read their story again but regardless she chose herself her sanity and her children. Her light shines brighter when she chose her peace
Facts
Great stuff. I wish I can like this a million times Neze Nwanyi Oma ❤
Chioma left Davido for 2 years when he got his baby momma in London while with her and that showed him that no every woman can take nonsense bcz he is a superstar and she was doing well had ambassador deals and even bought herself a house so now that they got back together he knew what she can do hence he is trying to be a best husband he can be
Lol...
Absolutely, this is the reason Davido has cut off with his baby mama.
Davido still cheating what are you saying 😂but if she smart she should summon as all the wealth she can from Davido
If your partner has another Motive
WOMEN'S WAY OF HIDING THEIR CHARACTERS: 1) CHILD ISSUES LIKE SHE NEVER HAVE HER OWN CHILD, SHE MARRIED HIM FOR REVENGE OR SHE BEAR A CHILD FOR HIM OR A MALE CHILD AND THE OTHER DID HAVE ) SOME BECAUSE MONEY
WHY THE MAIN REASONS OF MEN HIDING THEIR CHARACTERS: ARE FAME, AND IF THE LADY HAS MONEY AND POWER
@TheBestinMe143 Have you caught him?. You guys are praying for Davido to have another cheating scandal, so you can celebrate. No one is perfect, including you, Davido is trying to be a better person.
A Blunt But Hinest Truth. Let Him who Has Ears Hear It And Be Properly Guided.Thank You @Nezeville For Your Well Of Wisdom!
If you can, STAY!! If you can't GO period 🤷 💯.
I love your longer videos, very satisfying. You said it all dear Nezeville❤
This is a very good conversation. Thanks Nezee
If i am in a relationship and the man tells me not to work that is the day the relationship ends
@mamaosun3587 From the start of the relationship i am lying my card on the table for a relationship is a partnership not a maid ship
Bam
The three women stories ate different. May was a bread winner to the marriage, Tuface and Davido has money.
Tuface and Davido has never come to social media to humiliate their wives.
Yul Edochie behavior shows he didn't love his wife May, but was there for May money.
Love her?😂😂😂. It's who he is it's not because he didn't love her. He is just classeless
Let us hit that thumbs up, guys for Nezenwa
Thanks so much for all the encouragement. My take home today is DO YOU, THINK YOU FIRST AND THE WORLD WILL ADJUST
I love this woman Neze very educative content 🎉
You are so wise Neze❤
Your mental health is the most important thing+financial independence. Don't wait to be betrayed or regrets
Neze you are a gem thank you much for this lesson some of us have learned a lot which is good for our mental health
I do not know how women tolerate cheating expecially when married. They have my utmost respect to forgive n move on. Was cheated by just an ex, not husband n i could not see him the same way. We have tried to come back 3 times, but i just cant move past the cheating. These are strong women
A personal story of individuals told in simple terms that all of us can learn from. Thanks a lot Barr. Neze. 🙏
I truly appreciate the way you share your stories. It brings me joy to learn about what’s happening with May Edochie. I admire her resilience and the grace with which she navigates the challenges that have come her way🙏🏿❤️🇺🇸.
So much wisdom in one video. Well done Neze
Very educative. Thank you so much nezeville. ❤
Great advice
Some would even go to the extent of cutting their relatives off in the name of marriage.
Very sad.
Total madness honestly my family are my support system although he wants to cut me off from them but I stood my ground
Neze you the queen of Apiriko. Love you.
Neze! This was deeeeep
Really thought provoking
Neze you are one in a million thanks
Everyone has a "CHOICE " Thank you Barr. Neze Nwanyi Oma 🎉
Madam Neze you are a gem❤
Thanks darling for this piece
Well done Neze, you have done justice to this topic and I enjoyed every moment of this of this episode. You are spot on and constantly doing doing a great job
Neze, I like your tonation in the way you spoke about this subject. I know it is because it's a sensitive topic that affects a lot of people.
Love from Camair Nezeville. You are a great woman. You too get sense ma friend.
Wow! Always a joy yo watch 👀 your videos, cause there is so much to learn. A woman should be indeed independent, not dependent. Thank you God bless you. Love you loads ❤❤❤
Financial independence is very very important dear ladies.
It is so detailed and very educative. This is the first time that I actually listened and paid my full attention on this page. Love it. Thanks alot.
First analysis - Two-face did not grow out of boy stage. He did not have the chance to explore other women, because they started committed relationship too early. He just developed eye opener late in life.
God bless the child that has its own. I raised my girls to be independent and look for partners with equal ideals and values.
Thanks, Nezenwa, for these eye-opening narratives of your.
Having money affords you choices .
Any woman that limits her earning in a marriage has herself to blame
BRILLIANT ADVICE 🎉🎉🎉.
This video is fully pack of wisdom and lessons to learn thank you so much sis ❤
I won't throw my friends and family away too♥️♥️
This is eye opening
Thank you Neze, this is an educative talk show, so interesting, may God bless you for wisdom
Hmmmmmmm! I Keep learning ooo not married yet but all your advice and lectures, one can never go wrong. You worked with Access Bank nwanyi Odogwu.
The truth is if you have ever had the unfortunate luck of meeting a narcissistic man you will know that men can really hide their true intentions, it's not a one size fits all situation when it comes to these things. But I totally agree that a woman must try her best to have her own work and genuine source of income.
