Thanks for sharing, i have this rose for three years already, but it just bloomed once for me!! Agreed that her scent is so good, even can smell the scent from the leaves, but it grows so slow....
How interesting. For me, Eglantyne is by far one of the most floriferous and hardworking and healthy roses in my garden. Everything else tends to be leggy and fighting black spot, but Eglantyne stands out. She carries a multitude of blooms from the beginning of spring into November. She’s one of the first, as well as the last one to bloom. Her and Carding Mill are by far my top favorites. I have her in the sunniest and most well drained spot. That being said, I have loads of roses that never come even near to the health and beauty that yours seem to have. I have no idea why.
Hi, I planted my bareroot Eglantyne end of March in my Connecticut home. It is planted in partial sun. It has grown about 3 feet with some nice leaves but never bloomed. I fed her every month and water her regularly. Please advice what I should do to get some blooms.
Umm now let me see it flowers very early so it may have been too stressed to flower if it was only planted in March mine is usually in it’s first flush in early may
@@nishawong5565 Okay try taking a look at The Lady Gardner, that’s more a soft apricot Emily Brontë, Olivia Rose Austin, Wisley,The mayflower , Anne Boleyn, and Scarborough fair, You will find reviews for all of these apart from Wisley here on my channel

Can I ask what zone you are in and what your climate is like? Dry, humid, hot, wet?
