Both you and your wife do very good job of making and improving these videos and I just wanted to say thank you, to you both. 30 minute videos would be good. Gonna Miss Coffee with Lumnah Acres. You're the reason I log on. You do you Boo! I'm guessing less will be so much more from this creative lovely Family. Thank you soooo much!
The longer the video the better love watching you guys and having my morning coffee with Al and Gina I’ll be lost with just three videos a week but I understand there’s lots to do on a farm being raised on one as a kid
You should quickly build a three-sided shed to house that wood out of the way. Because wood is so expensive and you'll need so much for your off-grid property, you should invest in a sawmill to make your own 2x4s or other sized lumber. I would suggest that you buy a good sawmill with hydraulics to make it easier for you. It's expensive, but over the years would pay for itself.
I'm not opposed to a 40 minute video of your vlogs. I think maybe cutting back to 3 days a week will mean more behind the scene adventure . HAPPY EASTER!!!
Going to miss the 5 a week , you were the first homesteader I started watching 3 years ago and you got me hooked. My faves are Justin roadhes, the hollars , sow the land and self sufficient me, but you guys are by far my favorite . Peace
I started watching homesteaders on RUclips when I wanted a change. I finally did it myself and started our own channel as well just recently. Id be honored if you gave us a look.
Joe Dirosa ~ My top 3 are: this channel, the Hollar Homestead, and Good Simple Living. If you've never watched GSL, I think they'd rapidly move up to join your favorites. I'm subscribed to the other channels you mentioned, as well as a number of others. Homesteading is definitely living the dream, as far as I'm concerned
@@TXNLaurenMcN Thanks so much! Cant tell you how much I appreciate that. Its hard for us small time RUclipsrs to get any views so sincerely, thank you!
I hate when I find a channel that I love, BECAUSE they post daily... then they get a lot of subs and are making so much money that they decide that they can stop posting everyday. Keep in mind that WE all watch for a reason, and then yall change and those reasons we watch are then going to change.
Yes I have seen the same and l agree they make so much money they then think they can stop posting daily. Within a couple of years they have disappeared completely as they lose their subscribers. Just The way RUclips goes unfortunately.
@@alanhayes3156 Right. I find it shocking, because one reason that many channels got so many subs was due to people being at home 24/7 due to covid. With restrictions lifting, the YT watching will decrease alot. Add to that they just spent money on a new property and all .... probably not a good time to change up the channel.
It takes time to plan the work, plan the shot for best viewing, change the camera location so it isn't boring and we get a good view consistantly. Then edit the whole thing and get it posted so it can be viewed. Dont forget the chores, planning for the future and actually getting work done. Oh, never mind about them having a life without the camera on them. Quit complaining and enjoy the wonderful videos we see. They dont need it. If I had the time and talented enough, I could have my own channel. If I did, some unnecessary comments and subscribers would be eliminated. But I'm not that talented nor do I have the time.
Loren Turner hi Loren, I am not complaining but merely stating what I have observed over the years. So many times have seen RUclipsrs build up their following then quit their jobs then buy a second property then the increased load reducers their input in to RUclips which had enabled them to quit their jobs and purchase a second property in the first place, reduce their input to a level that they no longer have a presence on RUclips. Time will prove that in most cases I am correct. Just a question of the over all picture and thinking outside the box. No offence intended.
Do whatever gives you peace ! Your enthusiasm is contagious no matter if 5x or 3x a week ! Love your reverence for both plant / animal and each other !
I love you video and kinda sad your only doing 3 videos a week but that’s okay. Can’t wait for future videos and would love them to be a bit longer. Love you guys.

Howdy David! Ditto for you and yours... have a great day!

Gonna Miss Coffee with Lumnah Acres. You're the reason I log on. You do you Boo! I'm guessing less will be so much more from this creative lovely Family. Thank you soooo much!
Hopefully with less videos you can catch a little break. Although sad that there will be less of yall, thank you for taking us along on your journey.
Morning folks. I'll watch it in the morning. We still have snow, but it's slowly -very slowly- dissipating.
Gooooood Morning. When is all your snow usually gone in your part of Alaska
Build racks on side of sheds which are “out of weather”. Able to see length, size and number of pieces available. Move once & “sticker” store.
I think Al said he was going to build a leanto behind the barn? He was going to put some kind of storage space behind one of the buildings. Good idea.
Love watching you guys on your homesteading adventure. And I enjoy the cooking too. 🥲
The longer the video the better love watching you guys and having my morning coffee with Al and Gina I’ll be lost with just three videos a week but I understand there’s lots to do on a farm being raised on one as a kid
Good morning everyone. Happy Easter! 😊👋🏻
Gooooood Morning & Happy Easter
Happy Easter to all
You do what is best for your family.
Short and sweet and right on target!
@@HiddenCreekHomestead ~ Subscribed, based on this comment alone. :)
What works best for you will be just fine for me. Love the videos!!!
I hate when I find a channel that I love, BECAUSE they post daily... then they get a lot of subs and are making so much money that they decide that they can stop posting everyday. Keep in mind that WE all watch for a reason, and then yall change and those reasons we watch are then going to change.
I've seen a bunch of these channels do this. You are correct. They didn't just drop one day but 2. Like this will last forever.
I vote for the 30 minute videos I love seeing them. Thank you
Hate to hear about the change. You are my favorites.
Awesome 20 or 30 minute video's are great love all the content!! Stay blessed and Happy Easter!!
HAPPY EASTER! 40 Minutes please. Figaro needs his love. Was kinda wishing that there was a little Lumnah on the way.
I was thinking the same thing, they keep alluding to the fact that there are new things coming and I’m not talking about the pigs. Lol 😂
Me too😂 but at least they were blessed with Olivia🥰
I'm thinking Hope babies
They said watch till the end and there was news or announcement. My husband and I thought Gina was pregnant. Is there a reason they only had Olivia?
@@cbrazilj Happy Easter 🙌. Maybe she/he has/had fertility issues. None of our business - that’s a private issue. Just happy they were blessed with Olivia. Let’s just rejoice in that and leave it be❤️❤️❤️
Just love watching you! Do what you have time for. We have the mud down here in Saratoga county, NY
Bonjour from France. There is debating that I will miss the vlogs, but 100% support your decision to cut back. I just enjoy the content. As for length, surely the content available will determine that? Stay safe and stay strong.
The longer the video the better I can't get enough of Lumnah Acres.
I also agree! This is a regular morning/breakfast show in our household! Please keep up whatever you can,
Three a week is great. 20 minutes is probably enough to cover advice and news
I understand very well what you're dealing with I live in Southwest Louisiana we have no snow but a lot of rain so we have a lot of mud
Good morning Lumnah Acres..from philippines 🇵🇭
Gooooood Morning
Awesome I'm another viewer living in the Philippines
Lumnah Acres is about my favorite video of all so I am sad to hear of the reduced publication schedule but do understand the reason.
Good morning everyone here at Lumnah Acres from Kamakura Japan 🇯🇵

happy easter from west germany and you are also a huge blessing to us

Frohe Ostern aus Deutschland aka Happy Easter from Germany. I enjoy your videos, totally understand cutting back to 3 days a week.
Great job Al and all. I’ll look forward to all your content. I’ll miss my “good morning modern steaders.” On Mondays. But you’ve been so generous for years, I’m glad you’re concentrating on GTD for your family.
Like you I can never produce enough compost for our gardening needs - I will miss you making 5 episodes a week but totally understand the reason for it - hopefully it will make the ones that are uploaded even more enjoyable for having to wait for them.
With all the jobs you have to do, cutting back to 3 videos, at least temporarily, sounds like a great idea. I would say 25-30 minutes max for videos. Best of luck with everything.
Good morning Lumnah Acres, as much as I'll miss the 5-day uploads, with 500 acres, you will need the extra time. Al check out the gas/electric post driver Living Traditions Homestead has. Gina thanks for the honey mustard sauce recipe, it looks delicious.
The family needs a volunteer crew to take care of the video stuff!
@@samvalentine3206 I think Olivia is home-schooled, but they can teach her how. But I agree, they're definitely going to need additional help and not just for video and editing. Bringing on a few farm hands to assist them with this homestead and the 500 acre one will be necessary.
I really like a 30 minute video! Best of luck with the new format! 👍🏼🙏🏼
Goooood moooorrrnnning Al, Gina and Olivia and fellow Viewers and all my friends, Saturday greetings from Jamaica 🇯🇲. Hopefully you all had a great Friday

More is great, but do what ever u guys can do.I enjoy seeing all your vids and great content.
Hi Guys...………….Happy Easter...…...….its such a busy time for you so fully understand you need to cut down on the videos. I learn so much from the videos. Looking forward to seeing the new property develop.
Surprising you put out 5 a week till now. Whatever you decide is Ok with me. Keep em coming.
I've binged all winter, recovering from LKR & COVID, but spring is here. My health is good and I am thankful and I'm ready to get back outside. Lumnah Acres, do what you need to do and want to do and may God prosper your efforts.
HI guys, well I'm firmly in the more the merrier and the longer the better camp when it comes to the videos (i'd love them to be an hour long...lol ), I love seeing what you guys are doing but I understand why you feel the need to cut down to only 3, as i'm sure putting them together is extremely time consuming, so I wish you all the best no matter what you decide :)
Its amazing you guys have created a such a great channel from Al starting the homestead while both were working off the homestead. Posting so many videos... now,, working 2 homesteads.
great memories for the family.
Happy Easter
I like the 30 minutes videos are great looking forward to when hope has her babies i think she has 3 babies is the other one having babies as well
