- In this episode of Baat Cheet, Samra tells us about her career and how overseas pharmacists can qualify to become community pharmacists in the UK.
Samra did her OSPAP conversion course over 10 years ago from Brighton University and since then she has been working as a community pharmacist.
She did her Independent prescribing course last year and now also works as a Clinical pharmacist at a GP practice.

Dear Shazia, you have made a good point about supporting each other. I wanted to work after marriage and I chose to work part-time to balance work/family and Shahid always supported me. Some women don't want to work and focus on house and family, and that's absolutely fine and I respect their decision. Mutual respect and support is all that counts.

So that means you can still work as a dispenser with degree/bachelor's from India or Pakistan then process the registration and ospap side by side?

hi Samra nausheen here ..I got my degree of pharm D from KU in 2010 and then I have experience almost 8 yrs as a industrial pharmacist ..and now when I plan to move abroad I m working as a community pharmacist in agakhan university hospital..I want to know that is there any opportunities as a industrial pharmacist in UK??

2) Does universities offer any clinical pharmacy master too besides that course you mentiomed?
3) Does pharmacy license from rest of europe is still valid in uk (in case you have any knowledge after brexit)?

1- It is possible, but not easy to find half day shift
2- yes all universities offer clinical diplomas (here pharmacy degree is masters)
3- No, every EU country has diff requirements & licensing.

Pharmacy and got an admission fir MSc in pharmacology for jan intake but i want to do ospap course due to some reasons iam not able to do ospap these year I just want to know that iam i able to apply for ospap while staying in uk with continuing phamacology or I have to return back to my country for applying ospsp for next year??
