I hope we see Helaena at least seeking comfort or talking to Dreamfyre. Just 1 scene between both would be amazing to have. I love Helaena, poor girl.
I was thinking the same thing. Maybe she trys to find comfort with dreamfire after blood and cheese
I think that the 'blood and cheese" event will be even more dramatic and crazy than in the books. And I also think that if Helaena is gonna develop as a character they will need to involve Dreamfyre( possibly in a connection to her dreams) as she clearly has that gift.
A skilled rider mounting Dreamfyre for the Greens would be a huge addition which is one of the reasons i think if we do see Helaena and Dreamfyre interact it will be more like you said communicating/ prophetic stuff or something along those lines. Dreamfyre is bigger than Caraxes , Syrax , and Meleys.
@@byronthomas-xn9xrDreamfyre is bigger than Silverwing as well
@@wargattack8837 Indeed , I was talking about Dragons that have riders right now. Although the "Sewing of the Seeds" will be interesting I don't think thats going to happen until season 3
Helaena deserves so much better. Anyone who hates her needs therapy
She’s the only one of the greens who deserves NO hate.
Aegon is top of that list
Or good old beating with a bat
How could someone hate the most innocent character in the show
Nobody hates her
We actually did see Helaena on Dreamfyre. If you remember in ep 7 as the king’s family was leaving, Sunfyre, Dreamfyre, and Vhagar took off. Aegon, Heleana, and Aemond were riding their respective dragons.
Yeah, but we didnt "see" much, just a dragon flying in the distant background.
yes it was a distant scene of them flying
"A beast beneath the boards" was defo a reference to Rheanys bursting through the floor on Meleys.
Yeah this guy shouldn’t be making videos.
True, yet at the same time GRRM loves prophecies that can be interpreted in multiple ways. Depending on how much he was involved with the screenwriting itself, it could have other meanings too. (I do believe it was about Meleys though, but it could've also been about Aegon, hiding in the temple)
She predicted what would happen in each episode she was in
I don't think so. In the books, there is a horrific scene involving her that is surely a reference to "a beast beneath the boards". You'll see soon enough. It has something to do with "blood and cheese", that's all I'll say for now.
Or it could be layeris hiding in the walls of king's landing
I think the name " Dreamfyre" was mentioned by a dragon pit keeper when Rhaenyra asked which egg Daemon had stolen from the dragon pit 🥚 🔥 🐉
yes and it was also mentioned in the official subtitles when she appears. in non-english speaking countries it said «dreamfyre roars»
@@wargattack8837are you serious which ep?
@@lightning8820It was episode 2 around halfway through. "Which egg did Daemon take?" "The egg was Dreamfyre's, princess."
I love Helaena so much; she’s so precious.
I’m almost positive she didn’t “claim” Dreamfyre in the show. I think she probably had a dream or vision that she would be with Dreamfyre and probably just went to the pit and instantly bonded with her. Dreamfyre probably even sensed it immediately.
She did, there is an episode, after Aemond claimed Vhagar, in which all three kids leave Dragonstone with their Dragons
I love how she has a SUPER large and powerful dragon who’s almost as big as Vaghar and no one talks about it 💀
Well, no, she isn't anywhere near as large as Vhaegar. Only because she's been in the pit for decades. She's only slightly bigger than Drogon. And she hasn't fought in many wars because she tends to pop out a shit ton of eggs on random, so we're not entirely sure of her true potential on the power scale. But, she is definitely one of the oldest dragons. So it's weird that no one really mentions her that much.
@@fairyblu6929 oh? So she’s like much smaller than Caraxes or Meleys then? I was under the impression that she was only a bit smaller than Vermithor and that maybe she was the size of around Meleys, another very large dragon.
I think she the 5th biggest dragon
@@dexter8034isn't dreamfyre is the 2nd biggest after Vhagar? She is older than Caraxes and Meleys tho
@@bbbm5284silverwing and vermithor are bigger
1:24 Dreamfyre was mentioned when a dragon-keeper from Dragonstone came reporting to King Viserys that Daemon had stolen a dragon egg in episode 2.
I hope we can see even a glimpse of Helaena and her dragon bonding, I'm so curious of how she claim that formidable Dreamfyre knowing that beast is one of the older and more experienced dragon during the Dance.
That she ended up retiring in Harrenhal and took care of the dying Towers boy was actually kinda sweet. She probably saw it as another chance to feel that someone need her. She seemed estranged with her remaining septa daughter though I remember she did occasionally visited Oldtown.
That’s not Haelena. In fact it was before the dance of the dragons. I remember that part of Fire & Blood though.
@carastone3473 right. It was rhaena targaryen, who is the subject of most of this video, despite the title.
@@cameronmoore2713 yeah. This vid is basically a Rhaena vid. There's just not much material about Halaena. Only thing I know about her aside from what happened to her family was that she was apparently well-likef enough by the public that King's Landing erupted into riots when news of her death broke out
After Rhaena's death, Dreamfyre stopped being fertile. After Rhanyra's death, Syrax stopped being fertile and all dragons disappeared. Both Rhaena and Rhaenyra share a whole lot in common.
Helaena deserved better. She was one of the fully good and decent people on the green SIDE, alingside Daeron
aemond targaryen is a good guy he would have been a good king the only stupid thing he did was killing lucerys which he was somewhat justified as he took his eye for nothing
@@shadow-ww2liNah, books seem to think he has always been bloodthirsty and violent. We haven't seen so much of it in the show, but maybe they will show it later in war, since he did horrible things.
Daeron??? Double check what you're saying cause if my memory serves right Daeron slaughtered more blacks than his brothers
she was the only fully innocent adult on both sides
@@shadow-ww2liNot sure how it was in the books but in the show, it wasn't for no reason. Sure, neither were in the right, but Aemond had just threatened to kill Jace with a Rock, as well as threatened Luke's life. Being that young, it makes sense Luke got into fight or flight mode and pulled out the knife, neutralizing the threat. Even the fight started because Aemond threatened to feed Baela and Rhaena to Vhagar, their mother's former dragon. As harsh as it is, Aemond fucked around and found out.
Helaena is such tragic character, I hate how the dance of the dragons messed up her life.
Dreamfyre is mentioned in the second episode when they discuss "who's egg was stolen" and they said it was Dreamfyre's.
I know he probably misspoke but they mentioned dreamfyre by name 2 times in the series, ep. 2
Rhaenyra says
“Which egg did daemon steal”
And the keeper says
“It was dreamfyres, the same one you picked for Prince baelon”
Now that I’ve cleared that lil bit up I’ll continue watching lol
It probably meant egg from dreamfyre as opposed to dreamfyre.
"Beware the beast beneath the boards" Rhaenys and her dragon, Meleys!
I don't think so. In the books, there is a horrific scene involving her that is surely a reference to "a beast beneath the boards". You'll see soon enough. It has something to do with "blood and cheese", that's all I'll say for now.
Wasn't the _beast beneath the boards_ referring to when *Princess Rhaenys* came up from below on dragon back, during *Aegon's* coronation? 🤷🏼♂️
*EDIT:* Sorry, I don't recall if she referrenced it again _after_ that happened.
Love the videos. _Thanks!_
I think the prophecy “there’s a beast beneath the boards” was for shadowing Rhanenys and Meleys comin out the ground at Aegons coronation. I mean I guess you could argue the floor was “bricks not boards” but I think a beast beneath the boards sounds better than “the bricks” and floors are usually made of boards. That being said if this was a line from the books that GRRM wrote I would be skeptical to say this because he’s just sooooooo particular about his writings but these are the show writers were talkin about here lol. So odds are they could definitely feel more comfortable with paraphrasing than George. That’s just my take on it atleast.
I don't think so. In the books, there is a horrific scene involving her that is surely a reference to "a beast beneath the boards". You'll see soon enough. It has something to do with "blood and cheese", that's all I'll say for now.
it's not a line from the book. in the book, Haelena is not a dragon dreamer. she's just a kind and somewhat dim girl. although, since the entire book is written from a historian's POV and we don't have access to the characters' POVs at all, it's also possible that the historian simply didn't pay much attention to Haelena, aside from one very particularly disturbing incident that involves her.
Ironically, Dreamfyre was neutralized pretty early on in the Dance when Helena went mad.
Great video, love when you do longer videos like this, your voice is like honey
She’s very mysterious and so interesting and how she speaks in prophecies, make you want to learn more about the character
GRRM and his web of stories. I read and have to read again and again.
You help me remember, thank you! My old almost deaf ear (the other one is completely deaf) can't follow your very fast speech, so I also appreciate the CC.
my interpretation of beast beneath the boards might have been referring to the coronation scene, great vid as always
@whycreate they did mention Dreamfyre in ep. 2 but in Valyrian, the scene was when a dragonkeeper reported Viserys that Daemon stole the egg that belongs to her and after Rhaenyra asked whom egg was stolen :)
Tessarion and Meleys were also named she-dragons
One of the short stories also names Caraxes as a she and he in different parts
Vhagar and Silverwing are also confirmed she-dragons
Dreamfyre was mentioned in the show if not twice, at least once. The dragon egg for Prince Baelon was said to be an egg from Dreamfyre
Great work thank you
A beast beneath the boards was The Red Queen Maleese escaping during The coronation, or could also be Blood and Cheese
*Meleys
I think it was definitely for the coronation, I think the next season will open with Blood and Cheese which sucks, I wanted more Helena prophecies before that
@@cherrybomber69 It's probably going to be episode 2 or 3.
I think it’s gonna be Blood & Cheese!

I like how you were talking about heleana for like 2 minutes
She has such an interesting history behind those mysterious eyes.
I hope we get at least ONE SCENE of them together
I assumed beast beneath the boards referred to Meyleys rising through the ceiling of the dragon pit and bursting through the floor

Just a dreamer and her dragon💖
1:07- I thought the beast beneath the boards was rhaenys on meleys when they came up through the floor during aegons coronation. Does it mean something else?

Anyone know we the new season comes out. I'll need to rewatch season 1.
The beast beneath the boards was Rhaenys and Meleys breaking through the floor in the dragonpit.

Jaehaerys should've named his older sister's child as his heir. He wouldn't have had the crown without her, and her then stepping down. He screwed her over, and then her child. And by having that precedent, he pretty much cased the destruction of his house. Because of Jaehaerys, the Westrosi Lords thought it was fine to deny a female Targeryan heir for being female, causing the Dance, and death of dragons.
Honestly I think J Dragon should’ve made some laws about succession. He’s called the Conciliator but never thought to write down how succession works? He even argued with his wife over the issue several times in several different cases.
I mean he kept to westerosi tradition, which at the time was wise because the realm was just coming off a conflict with the faith militant under Maegor. J dog sought stability and it didn't help that his older sister was kind of a beyotch
@@Captain_Insano_nomercy Eh, his sister did have her husband killed, her position as queen usurped/taken from her, her daughters threatened, and was forced to marry her uncle who she probably had to fuck more than once, and then she was expected to show fealty to her younger brother who was a boy by the time she was a woman. She had a right to be pissed off.
@Aaron Cohen she may have had a right to it but that doesn't make her any more appealing as a ruler
And why Big J do that he will never pass his own Children in Succession over his Dead Brother Daughters Big J is a Typical Politician in a Mediaval World.
I think the beast beneath the boards is the dragon bursting out of the dragon pit floor during aegon’s coronation
Great vid about Rhaena by GRRM. Wish the vid title wasmore befitting. Thanks,
A beast beneath the boards was meleys and the queen who never was
do you guys know when the second season is going to be released
Probably summer or autumm 2024. But we might have a trailer this november to around February.
So, in the book Aemond bonds with Vhagar before Halaena bonds with dreamfyre? The show muddled this a bit. As Halaena isn't present at the lessons in the dragon pit so we might think she hasn't bonded yet. But she is seen flying Dreamfyre to Driftmark right before Aemond bonds with Vhagar.
No livro e na série Helaena se torna cavaleira de dragão antes de Aemond
My name is Helena 😍😍😍😍 I was so happy to hear my name in the series ☺️ sure it's not spelled the same but it's pronounce is the same ❤
16:50 That's a Nargacuga.
First to take the Black!
Beast beneath was referring to the red dragon Maelise
Is there any spoilers from the books in the video ?
All of them.
The beast beneath the boards could either be. The dragon at the coronation, or more likely blood and chess.
Yeah I think it's Blood and Cheese. Just look at how terrified Helaena is when she says it.
@@quizzlybear Doesn't matter what you think when it's already been confirmed it was about Meleys popping up in ep 9, not B&C.
@@quizzlybear agreed
@@seda6968 Interesting, I wonder what she'll prophesize for Blood and Cheese then. "Beast beneath the boards" and her shivering when she says it fits so perfectly for blood and cheese. I won't spoil what that's about, but they are beastly savages and they do come from under her "boards".
@@quizzlybear Wouldnt that be "beasts" then ? Since they are two and not singular "beast". And they dont appear until season 2 anyway, does not make much sense.

Beast beneath the boards was Meylees

What colour is Dreamfire
Blue
Do dragons have to mate to lay eggs
This seemed like it was more about Rhaena than Helaena.
I watched a lot of your videos. But it's really hard to understand your pronunciations.
You might want to consider having your own closed captions (the CC automated by youtube is inaccurate).
Your content is cool, but i cannot hear it.
So dreamfyre is older than Vermathior
Happy Pride to Rhaena and Elissa💜
Rhaena was most likely bisexual.
@@Alejojojo6 Does that mean I can’t say Happy Pride, or…?
Because in the US, Pride includes people who are bisexual.
But if you expected me to wish Androw Farman a happy pride, you’re very wrong.
They are half siblings. It should have gone to whoever was born first. Thats alot of kids, and only one who which is grown.
Dreamfyre the most un used dragon
How is Vermithor bigger than dreamfyre if she is older ???
First!
So u made a video and named it “Haelena…” but u speak 90% of Rhaena, nice
There isn't much agency for helaena in the f&b, while I think the creator wants to connect rhaena to helaena based on bonding with dreamfyre and tragedy.

Tanta coisa que poderia ter sido dita sobre Helaena
I feel like meraxys would have been the more likely mother of the earlier dragons rather than vaghar
This is all about rheane
Wait no yes they had dragon eggs put in there cradles its said in fire and blood nyra kids eggs hatched and the Hightowers eggs did not
She’s older than Aemond
I don't think the dragon in the pit is dreamfyre, she's more than a century old she should be way bigger than that
I thought Helaena was older than aemond
Aemond stay kill by deamon
HOW could Allissa STILL have eggs to sell to build a ship WITH her ON the ship she SOLD the eggs to BUY and build?
She did a duplication glitch
allissa already had a ship, she just wanted to build a bigger one.
How will humans defeat the real dragon? Yes?
Shes definitely on the spectrum. But shes on the "highly functional" side.
Alicent brings her comfort? this poor woman always looks so uncomfortable when Alicent is around. Not to say there isn't love there on both sides, but the discomfort is very visible.
Please. Shut up alicent is her mother and helaena doenst like being touched in general she’s autistic
Show did nothing to Haelena character they made her weirdoo instead of Princess Diana of Westeros she was people's Queen not bug Queen and Dreamfyre and Sunfyer were not even showed
Autism ? Perhaps.
why didn't Helena mount her dragon after they killed her son...would love to see a battle between dreamfyre and syrax
