I think that Yoatzi is the type of partner where it’s always me me me. Her feelings come first and instead of reflecting on what the issue is instead of being too emotional. I think she is quick to lash out on Alex rather than hearing him out. Seems like Alex is putting in more work to keep the peace. Yes I know I don’t personally know them but I’m allowed to make my observations and opinions. They look happier together but a relationship is 50/50. I wish them the best and hope their relationship is healthy and long lasting.

Sometimes it’s like this because one isn’t emotionally stable or physically stable and the other person has to put in the other persons part to balance out the situation and get through it as a couple. Hence why they say “through thick and thin” or “for better or for worse”. But yes you are entitled to your own opinions but if you have nothing nice to say then don’t say it.

I agree with Alex, it all depends on what you consider smart, there are doctors/lawyers/Engineers who graduated and took their exams to certify/practice what they went to school for and they don’t pass with 100% A+ on the exam. There’s people who are good at math and bad a reading. Also just because you have a degree doesn’t mean you’re smart. Some people who work or learn in the field/streets know more and are able to handle stressful situations better… so it does depend what you consider Smart some people are better at things than others but doesn’t mean their smart their just naturally gifted at something. Commenting from experience of working in a construction field

I live in PHX and still go jogging outside in the summer. Lol Your body eventually adapts to the heat, but it’s important to listen to it and stay hydrated so you don’t pass out if you’re going to workout in the heat. Also, people forget we get snow in AZ up north. ❤

Finally got a wake up call September and started at 213 lbs and now i'm 204 lbs and moving my body and eating better! ngl i know exactly what alex meant when he said he doesn't consider book smart being smart just cause you go to school doesn't mean your smart, maybe he just phrase it wrong when he said anyone can go to school he is right anyone can go to school and learn that specific topic but many lack motivation or ganas to actually go and commit to it

1000% yes on the move in silence when it comes to your fitness journey. Every year i posted i would take it seriously this time around and always flopped. Finally got a wake up call September and started at 213 lbs and now i'm 204 lbs and moving my body and eating better! Nobody knows other than my husband and am seeing a difference now that i shut my big aaaaass mouthaaa 😂😂😂

The way I’ve been rewatching all the first season videos because I love having your podcast on while im doing anything.
I work retail so if I’m doing a morning shift I go in at 7am and we have 3 hours like to clean up the store or whatever so while I’m doing that I always listen to your guys podcast and it makes my mornings go buy so fast I’m always laughing and I try covering my face so no one things I’m a weirdo laughing but I love the pod!!
