ഭദ്രകാളിയുടെ അത്യുഗ്രമായ ഒരു ഭാവമാണ് പട്ടായ്യമ്മ എന്ന സങ്കല്പം.ആയിരം കാളിക്ക് തുല്യം ആര പട്ടായ്യമ്മ എന്നാണ് പറയുന്നത് . ഇവിടത്തെ ഒരു വഴിപാടാണ് കൊട്ടും ചിരിയും.കളഞ്ഞുപോയ സാധനങ്ങൾ തിരിച്ചു കിട്ടുന്നതിനാണ് ഈ വഴിപാട് നേരുന്നത്. ഇവിടെ ഈ വഴിപാട് ദുർഗ്ഗാ ഭഗവതിക്കാണ് നടത്തുക .ഗണപതി ദക്ഷിണാമൂർത്തി വിഷ്ണു തൃപ്പങ്ങോട്ടപ്പൻ പഞ്ചമൂർത്തികൾ സർപ്പ പ്രതിഷ്ഠകൾ എന്നിങ്ങനെ ഉപദേവതകളും ഉണ്ട്.
Pattayamma temple is located in Moozhikulangara village near Nendur in Onamthuruth village of Kottayam district.This temple is also one of the most dedicated temple organizations in Kerala and is named after Pattaya
The concept of Pattayamma is an extreme form of Bhadrakali. Ara Pattayamma is said to be equal to a thousand Kalis.Kottum Chiri is an offering here. This offering is offered to get back lost items. Here this offering is made to Goddess Durga. There are also sub-deities like Ganapati Dakshinamurthy Vishnu Tripangottapan Panchamurthys and serpent deities.
