I download and I think it downloads better discord, but the options for plugins and stuff do not show up
May have to restart discord manually, if you still don’t get the plug-in options, you may need to repair the installation using the installer again.

A forum post on BetterDiscord suggested to restart your computer. If you're still having issues, try using ctrl + R repeatedly until it works.

Why when I download the Do Not Track pluggin it says ‘this could harm your device’, ‘do u want to keep it or delete it’ ? Is this something I should be concerned with?

why did my anitvirus say "we protected your pc" and said dont run.
This usually happens with unofficial software so naturally an antivirus software can be quite sensitive towards it.
BetterDiscord has been downloaded many times before and it's trusted amongst the community, it's known to be safe.

If Discord could not be found, close the installer, reinstall Discord discord.com/, then reinstall BD.
B. Run the installer as administrator
C. Right click the installer > properties, click the unblock button and run again.
D. Press win+R and paste ipconfig /flushdns, then restart pc and run the betterdiscord installation.
E. Try disabling any third-party Antivirus software.

Discord can be quite buggy as you may know. Try using the web version instead of the application or vice-versa. This is usually the first point of action.
Dont download this. Yes it works but it slows your discord down and crashes it and whoever made the plugin has access to your account
