Hello, my Famboos~! 🐼
I'm so excited to share my full version of Voltes V no Uta (Legacy Version) with you all! This was specially requested by many of my Japanese listeners, and I’m thrilled to finally bring it to life. 🎶
For a bit of my journey with this song, I uploaded a cover of it back in 2020 using the original backing track, which included male and children’s backing vocals. In May 2023, Voltes V Legacy premiered in the Philippines featuring Ms. Julie Anne San Jose singing the opening theme of the Legacy Version. This inspired a wave of requests from Filipinos who watched Voltes V Legacy, encouraging me to create my own version without the male and children’s vocals. With their support, I collaborated with my talented friend Julio to produce a brand-new instrumental and released a short/TV version of the Legacy Version, which was met with such warm and wonderful feedback.
Fast forward to October 2024~ after the Japan release of the theatrical cut of Voltes V: Legacy, I began receiving heartfelt messages from my Japanese listeners asking for a full version of the Legacy Version opening song. And now, here it is! I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed singing it. 💖
But wait, there’s more! I'm also currently working on the full version of the Voltes V ending song. Like the opening, I recorded a short/TV version of it back in 2023, and now I’m super thrilled to finally release full versions of both the opening and ending themes of Voltes V! Stay tuned~ it’s coming very soon! ✨

The original song has always been a favorite of mine. This theme is a war march! It sets the tone of the battle in the show very well. And your cover is great! Mitsuko Horie is one of my favorite anisong artists and you've got the same kind of power and intensity she's got.
