Horrible background music choice for ball drop on this video! Just awful! Didnt fit the occasion at all! And terrible angle for watching ball drop. If I didn’t know it was for New Years’ Eve, I would have thought NYC was under siege! :(.
Although it was the same song playing over and over, I thought it was the most beautiful version of Auld Lang Syne (a traditional New Year's song) I've ever heard. I enjoyed it as background ambiance and it definitely gave me New Year's holiday vibes. There were plenty of other broadcasts for commentary, live music, more countdown focus, etc. if that's you thing.
